Yesterday was my third surgiversary.

I may not have gotten to where some people think I should have gotten, but I'm so happy with where I am compared to where I started. My life is entirely different, yet still my life. My size affects everything I do, but not who I am.

Posting "then and now" photos (I don't like the term "before and after") isn't a cry for accolades; it is how I remember and check-in with who I was, physically, pre-op -- and don't ever want to go back to.
