Whatcha eating Today VSGers? Tuesday, 3/27/2018
This morning I get to start my allergy test for nickel to see what sort of braces I'll need. Very exciting. Then it's off to the podiatrist to confirm that my feet still hate me and, later, I've got physical therapy for my shoulder. I'm also going to be calling my orthopedist in order to get a new PT prescription so I can start doing shoulder PT on the same days, at the same location, as foot PT because this four days a week thing at two different places has gotten old. Aside from that? My goal is to finish up my gerontology reading for the week and get discussions posted for that class. Woo!
I ended up not cooking dinner last night because there were SO MANY leftovers in the fridge.
QOTD: What are you most looking forward to in the next 10 years? Challenge mode: not related to weight! Since, really, "reach and/or stay at goal weight" is probably true for most of us!" (I'll answer in a comment.)
1: protein shake
2: cheese!
3: leftover eye round roast
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: physical therapy for shoulder
How about you on this fine Tuesday (or Wednesday if you're Australian)?

Good morning, all. It is a fine Tuesday. The sun is shining (it is cold tho) and there are no storms on the horizon.
QOTD: I am looking forward to hopefully becoming a grandmother. Nobody but me is ready yet, so it may be a while. I'm also looking forward to using the new RV we bought this spring. Looking forward to being able to drive up, drop the stabilizers and be done after years of tent/pop up camping which requires alot of work and setup. New RV has A/C, tv, oven, shower!!! This is not camping, but at my age I'm ready for glamping!
Also looking forward to and hoping to take 1-2 really nice vacations a year. I'd like to plan a trip to Italy/Paris for next spring. Going to Aruba in June. We'll see what the future brings! When I say I see a light at the end of the tunnel, my husband says, "that's not a light, it's a freight train." He is usually right.
B: 1/2 cinn bagel, cored, toasted with cc - I'm a keto flunky already, lol
Rest of day - IDK - cupboards are bare in reno prep and everything is packed in bins. Ugh, this will be a challenge
E: walk, for sure - and probably finish emptying the kitchen/bath in preparation for demo tomorrow or thursday (waiting to hear)
VSG on 04/28/2014
Hahaha.. yeah, you kind of need other people to be on board to become a grandmother :D Enjoy the RV!

Good morning! I am currently sitting in my car waiting for a friend so what better time than to post my menu!
QOTD: Within the next 10 years I hope to get my BSN and RN. In the next few months I HOPE to change positions to a hospital where I can have a much simpler schedule to go to school with. As much as I love my work, it is hard on me and the hours every other week are just too insane. It's a rotating schedule ON Monday, Tuesday OFF Wednesday, Thursday ON Friday, Saturday, Sunday. The next week you are only on Wednesday, Thursday. That week makes it impossible to go to school with it also being 12 hour days.
Breakfast- 1 egg, Coffee with about 2 oz of PP for creamer
Mid Morning Snack- Low fat cottage cheese
Lunch- Chicken salad I made on Nature's Own wheat+protein bread
Afternoon snack- my jumbled, sad caprese salad of babybel mini crumbled up and some diced tomatoes.
Dinner- Shredded chicken with a sriracha sauce I will make.
Totals- 716 Calories, 28 carbs, 98g protein
Are you able to do any work for your degree online? Because, yeah.. that schedule would make school impossible :(

Not for the way I am approaching it. I am going to go LPN to RN then get my BSN while working as an RN. None of my LPN stuff is online. I can't even start school until I find a new job.
QOTD: Let's see, 10 years would take us to 2028 - wow. During that time I would like to finish my BS degree (2019), move to House 2.0 closer to my mom (2020), start working in my field (2020-2021), and then maybe start and finish a MS while working. Of all of these things, I'm most looking forward to moving and being finished with full time college!

Good morning!
QOTD: My wife and I want to have a baby. We have been saving up, but everytime we get enough (IUI costs, fertility meds, semen, etc makes it about $1000 a cycle....which is CHEAP, trust me, we shopped around) it seems that we have some catastrophe or emergency. We decided that we are DEFINITELY trying in June and then again in September...so maybe it will happen! We also hope to purchase a home soon. There's nothing wrong with renting, I'd just like to put down some real roots and begin building my more long-term home! So...hopefully they next 10 years will involve a home, a child, and (of course) continued weight loss and then maintenance.
B: latte
L: Unsure...I have peanut butter and tuna in my desk, so one of those.
D: Unsure...hopefully seafood. I'm really tiring of chicken. Maybe the wife will take me out. If not, I'll probably have some BBQ crockpot chicken with some zucchini.
Snacks: Unsure....haven't been really needing them the last few days.

Good morning all! Tuesdays are a lighter day for me, just one group session and a couple of meetings, so I'm feeling good.
QOTD: Such a hard question! I am hoping to finally meet the requirements for my clinical license early next year, and that's been my ultimate career goal for forever. I'm hoping we'll buy a house in 2020. But honestly, it's the small stuff that really excites me. Watching Rylan and Nyah grow up. Celebrating anniversaries with Nick. Etc.
B - Protein shake
l - 2 boiled eggs
d - Turkey tortellini soup
e - walking 1.5 miles during Ry's baseball practice.

Hi all,
Hope I can join in! I read every day but never post. Have decided to start posting to motivate myself to lose some recent gain.
My name is Molly, I am 40 years old and am almost 2 years post-op (May 5th). I had surgery in Mexico and lost almost 90lbs initially. My lowest weight ever was 157lbs right before Christmas. Since then I have been struggling with about 5-8lbs of regain. I also never got down to my initial goal of 155 so have some disappointment about that.
I also have let the dreaded carbs creep back in to my life lately.
I am a Family Nurse practitioner and work full time and am in school this year doing a post-masters program to become dually-certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I have let this be my excuse to stress eat some of my feeling but have to nip this bad habit in the bud.
todays menu:
B-celebrate vitamin protein shake made with unsweetened almond milk/coffee with sugar-free creamer
L-2 tuna creation pouches
s- Chobani flip
D- ? maybe left over steak
QOTD- finish the PMHNP program by 2018, pass the certification boards and by 2019. I want to obtain a waiver to prescribe Suboxone and open up a business doing this on the side for an additional income stream and use this to finance my children's college educations. I am also putting aside money for plastic surgery and want to have this done once I hit and maintain my goal weight for several months.
