I know that iron and calcium need to be spaced by 2 hours. Not sure about everything else, but I figured if the doses are broken up, then I should allow 2 hours for digestion of each. It's pretty easy - at work I had a "meeting" on the calendar that I moved forward by 2 hours after each dose. Now I use a reminder on my phone and do the same thing.

I am not. I have never been told that before by my surgeon, he said an Iron and multi-vitamin. I did not know I needed more.

Edit: I did some googling and I see that it is essential to take calcium and iron as well as the multi vitamin. Why did he never mention calcium before?

Thank you. I will look for a calcium vitamin and up my iron. I am taking one iron pill it is only 27mg. It looks like I can get a lot covered in a multi-vit, a non chewable multi-vit. Are the actual bariatric vitamins better? They are a bit pricier for less it seems.

Bariatric vitamins are not better - as long as the vitamin is from a reputable company, and meets the requirements, you'll be fine.

My bariatric multis have a lot of calcium in them. I don't take separate ones and my numbers are good.

Good morning,

I was supposed to take my friend shopping this morning but she rescheduled for this afternoon.

Qotd when my niece called me skinny Minnie, I laughed because I didn't feel like it but I thought about it and brought happy thoughts. Since she see me as successful because she had the rny 2 months after I did and she wasn't very successful because she likes to drink alcohol.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L chicken tenders

D corned beef, cabbage and carrots

Have a good day

QOTD: My best and favorite compliment was from my stepchildren. Both have told me that they model their parenting on me, and both are great parents. I spend a lot of time with their 8 children. We also have a bio daughter who has 4 children - the siblings are very close to each other and the cousins love getting together. Makes for amazing holiday get-togethers!

M1 - protein bar

M2 - probably chicken soup

M3 - grilled chicken and brown rice.

That is a beautiful compliment. It really shows how highly they must think of you.
