QOTD: do you have any special skills or talents? What are you really good at?
I don't have any obvious talents like playing an instrument, drawing well, or speaking multiple languages. I've always been envious of those who do! It took me a while to realize that what I'm good at is less clear cut. I'm intuitive and good at reading people and I'm pretty great at listening and responding with compassion. Nothing that would win a talent show, but I'm grateful for these abilities in my line of work. :)

Good morning! I'm really dragging today. It's the final countdown (45 school days until Summer) and I have too much material to fit in and not enough time. I really could use a couple days confined to my mess of a house to clean and reorganize. Oh well!
QOTD: I'm a great reader, and that's about it. It sounds strange, but it's the only thing that I've been consistently good at my entire life. I started reading when I was 4, maxed out my AR points every year in school, and I made a 35 in Reading on the ACT in 10th grade. I like to think I'm a decently proficient writer, but I don't play any instruments or do any singing or dancing. (Trust me...you don't want to hear me sing!)
B: apple oatmeal
L: BBQ chicken and veggies
D: Chicken and Broccoli
Snacks: Beef Jerky, Greek Yogurt
Exercise: I did most of my cardio video at the beginning of my planning, but I got interrupted about 12 minutes in. Hopefully, I'll have a walk this afternoon, as well.

I'm an awesome reader for fun, but when it comes to reading for classes? I definitely feel like I've lost this talent over the years and, after 2.5 years back in school, I'm STILL struggling to get it back. And that just sucks :P

Good morning (still another hour left almost). It is very warm and humid here in Florida but a front is coming through later today which will lower the temperature.
QOTD: I'm organized and good at breaking projects into tasks and setting and achieving target dates (I did a lot of project management). I have a pretty good eye for home decorating and take somewhat decent pictures.
1 year, 11.5 months post-op
Always lots of coffee...
B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: Fish - probably either talapia or salmon
S: Yogurt and/or mozzarella/prosciutto sticks

Those are pretty awesome talents. I try to be organized and for a day I will be, then I'm a mess until I decide a couple weeks later to get organized all over again.
I'm not organized in everything I do, only when it feels like a "project".

Good morning - we are hunkering down for our 4th nor'easter here. Now they are calling for up to 12 inches of snow. There are already mounds on each street corner and they are hard as bricks which is going to make plowing another potential 12 inches challenging. I'm planning on working at home, so bring it on, haha.
B: 1/2 bagel with peanut butter and banana
L: hoping there is a good soup at the caf, otherwise is salad. I always hate the salad at the caf and realized that I just really hate their dressings. I have now wisely brought a bottle of dressing that I like into the office, duh.
D: picking up a rotisserie chicken and then making soup tomorrow when snowed in with leftovers. I still have frozen stock from thanksgiving - and need some freezer room.
E: walking the dog before we can't tomorrow.
L/V: good!
QOTD: I'm good at my job, being a mom, organization and time management.

Oh no! You must be part of the country getting all that snow! I'm so sorry. Stay warm and comfy until you all can get through it. I think we're all through our winter here, which I'm really thankful for.

Good morning! I'm supposed to be at work, but I took the day off for court. Family issues are the worst, and sadly my sister has gone crazy since my mother was hospitalized and gone through all she has gone through. Between the stress of all that, and State Surveyors in the nursing home I work at yesterday, I thought I was going to lose it. We were so far behind that on a day we have to be perfect, my hall partner and I cut about a million corners. Never in safety, but in other time saving ways. I felt so bad and feel bad, but on top of state surveyors we were understaffed. It was complete madness. Meals alone took well over two hours with all that need fed in my unit.
QOTD: I don't know if I'm really good at one thing in particular. I really like to paint, and enjoy watercolors.
Breakfast - Nature's own Wheat + Protein bread, Whipped Greek Cream Cheese, coffee with premier protein as a bit of creamer
Mid morning snack - Chobani plain with PB2
Lunch - Ground turkey meatballs (2) with a babybel mini cut in half and stuffed in each
Mid afternoon snack - Coffee with premier protein. Not feeling like my usual cottage cheese and want a sort of cozy down day after court
Dinner - No clue yet. Really craving some peppered pork though, cut into nice thin strips and cooked crispy.
