Newbie Seeking Support Group

Hey Cecliy! That's interesting. Not too many people have that name.

I had the VSG done March 2nd. It was a breeze for me. I had no pain afterwards. In fact, the worst part of coming out of surgery was the split lip from the tube in my throat. I am losing on track, so my doctor says, and I can already feel it in my jeans! I'm sure this was the right choice for me. I simply was not able to lose weight without a little bit more support than a diet plan. I am learning that this site has a lot of helpful people on it to answer questions as you go along.

You may also want to check with your insurance company, if you have coverage. For example, I am insured thru HealthPartners and they offer a free monthly telephone support group (with people who dial in from all around the US).
