Soups

i am thinking way ahead.
i had my VSG done on the 14th. It's been mostly good since the day after. When I get released to the next stage I would like to make my own soups. I have both a nicer blender and an immersion blender. I am hoping for recipes or sites if you have them. I just want to be prepared and I don't rally care for the cream soups that are canned.
oh and I'm officially on the losers bench, down 19 since Jan 5th. 7 since surgery. Yay!

Grats on joining us other "losers"! I had tomato soup and hot and sour soup with all of the usual solid ingredients strained out of it. Also, my grandmother would make stew for herself and vegetable soup and save the broth from those. I will say stew blended and lightly watered down was delicious, so was cheesy, broccoli soup.

Some people do gain a bit of weight in the hospital, due to things like IV fluids and the gas that's used to inflate your abdomen during surgery. Stick to your doctor's plan, and it'll come off!

VSG 2013, RNY conversion 2019 due to GERD. Trendweight here!
I would go to chains like Panera and Zoup! and get something non-cream or noddle based (like turkey chili) and blend it to liquid with an immersion blender.
