3days after surgery

I didn't have nausea, but seems normal. My doc prescribed odansetron (Zofran) to be used as needed, but I never had to use it. Congrats on your surgery! 1 st couple of weeks sucks, just keep sippin'!

You're not alone. I was nauseous for 5 days post-op (VSG on 12/19/17). Threw up a few times but mainly dry heaves. It came and went throughout the day, and was bad enough to wake me up 2-6am every morning. Didn't take any meds. Was planning to go to my surgeon's office on 12/26/17 about it, but it stopped on Christmas Eve.
