Good morning, VSGers! I haven't started the thread in awhile, but I've been up for an hour and my kids are at a friend's house. So, I've found myself with a pretty quiet morning. Today I'll be seeing my brother (potentially the last time before we move) and going to see Jon's stepfather and his wife as well. This is the last weekend before the moving truck comes!

QOTD: How do you start your mornings? Do you get up early or sleep in late? Do you start with coffee and PJ's or are you right in the shower and on with your day?

On weekday mornings I wake up at 4:30-5am and I get dressed and ready for work. Then I make coffee and do any kitchen clean up that is needed. Once my coffee is brewed I sit and catch up on Facebook, forums, and input my food into MFP for the day while enjoying two cups of coffee. Once I'm done, I cook my breakfast and pack it, pack my lunch, and head off to work. On the weekends, I get up a similar time (unless the stars are aligned and then I might sleep until 6-6:30).

Good morning! How far are you moving? We always moved within the same town until we retired to Cape Cod in 2014. Then we moved 90 miles. For Florida winters we are 1500 miles away.

QOTD: When I worked I was up at 4:30 and jumped in the shower immediately if I was going into the office, leaving by 5:15. On the days I worked at home I stayed in my PJs, drinking coffee and on my iPad until 6:30. Weekends I did the same except I got moving a little more slowly in the mornings. Now I try to sleep until 6:15, though I still tend to wake up at 4:30. I get dressed right away but then drink coffee and use my iPad until 8 when I go out to walk for an hour or so.

1 year, 11 months post-op

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: turkey pepperoni

D: fish of some sort and veggies (out to dinner)

S: maybe prosciutto mozzarella stick, maybe Yogurt

Good morning,

My friends grandson has to go to his dads today so my plans got changed for today. So I'll exercise and do some housework.

Qotd lately I've been getting up between 830-900 even though I don't go to bed till 1-2 am except Sunday I get up at 630 for church. I lounge around in my pjs and have coffee and water then make breakfast then have a shower and get dressed.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple

D beef cubed steak and roasted asparagus

QOTD: I am not a morning person and don't wake up or get up early unless I have a reason to. On days where I have little planned, I usually sleep until 7:15 to 8, get up, feed to dog, and lounge in my PJs with my iPad and a cup of coffee for a while. Then breakfast. I finally drag myself out of the house around 10 or or 10:30 to walk the dog. Most of my hikes start at 8 though, so I do have to move up and fast forward much of my morning routine on those days.

B - coffee, yogurt, berries, grain free granola

L - real good pizza

D - mussels, broccoli

S - apple, cheese

Good morning! I am so excited and happy for you and your family Erin!

It's sunny, clear and supposed to be in the 50's today, yea!! Took my mom to the casino last night, for the first time in over a year I actually came home with a little more instead of always loosing:-) I plan on taking Emmy for a long hike in about an hour or so. Going to take full advantage of the sun while it's here!!

QOTD-My internal alarm clock ALWAYS goes off between 4:30am-5:30am. It doesn't matter if I am up till 2am, on vacation or am sick. I spend the next few hours having coffee, catching up on my DVR list or reading. It takes about 2 hours before I can move my joints without too much pain. I then eat breakfast, catch up on the computer then am out the door by noon either walking Emmy or taking her for a hike.

L-Tuna w/pickle & mayo, string cheese

S-Chai tea with vanilla PP shake

D-Green chili casserole with cauliflower rice, hamburger and Mexican cheese

S-chicken jerky if needed

E-Hike with Emmy in the sun!

QOTD: On workdays I wakeup at 5, shower, make tea, get dressed and head out by 6...eat when I get to work because if i eat at home, I want to eat again at work. Work at home days, I still wake up by 5:30 or 6 (weekends too), take the time to drink some tea, go to Dunks for an iced coffee (in pjs covered with sweats and coat, lol) and then have some breakfast later.

L: fresh fruit and 1/2 cupcake, cookies - off the rails!

D: sharing a chicken parm with the hubby
