Dietician visits completed!
Hey guys, i completed my 3months of dieticians visits todays which is all that was required since I am not a smoker. I will be meeting with the surgeon again this friday and he will submit to my insurance. Is there anything you guys recommend me asking him or bringing to my appointment?
Also I did a upper GI, physical therapy, stomach x ray, and psychological evaluation already... what else will I have ro do from here and does it take long to get these appointments? I just want to get the ball rolling and get my surgery date asap while i have tiem from my jobs in the beginning of April. If you guys have any advice or anything to share please feel free because i appreciate it all, thanks!
Sounds like you have everything down pat! I really don't have any advice for when you see the surgeon, BUT the most important advice that I got before my surgery was to make sure I brought a lip moisturizer to the hospital. You will be cutting down quite a bit on your liquids and will "dry out" very quickly.
I actually got my surgical date right when I met with the surgeon, as I made sure that I had my prior auth from the insurance before I ever met with the surgeon. (What can I say, I work in health insurance).

I hope your process goes smoothly, as well as your insurance approval. It only took 3 days after that to have surgery set up for 2 weeks later. I only had to do a 2 week pre op diet. Best of luck!
