Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Tuesday, 2/27/2018
Happy Tuesday! I hope you all have a wonderful day! I designate today say something good about yourself day.
QOTD: Everyone has something that they are good at or has something they do well. Tell us about one thing that you excel at or is good about you. Time to toot your own horn!
I'm good at making lemons into lemonade. I have a can-do attitude that doesn't quit. I wasn't born this way, however. I used to be pessimistic and bitter. Over the years, I've mellowed and developed the ability to look at a situation and make the best of it or turn it around.

QOTD: I'm good at problem solving. I can figure out how to get something done at work - or how to manipulate my checkbook when there is no money to go on an impromptu weekend away, lol. I also consider myself to be a good cook - I like to make my own dough, pasta, sauce from garden tomatoes, salsa, etc.

You know I could tell that you were good about making "lemons into lemonade "! That's a great skill.
I'm sitting in the Florida DMV getting ready to register our car down there. I HATE waiting. Hopefully it won't be more than an hour. Getting here was a challenge as the garage door wasn't working properly. We finally got it up but I have to figure out what's wrong somehow.
QOTD: I am great at managing projects: setting goals, breaking them down into manageable tasks and determining timelines. I did that at work, but can do it in my personal life when necessary.

How is it?

It's pretty good if you have a sweet tooth (which I do). Not exactly like ice cream but I like it. Sometimes I eat more than planned but at least the damage isn't huge. I usually have the vanilla (240 calories per container). I try to stick to 1/3 of a container but sometimes it slips to 1/2.

I do have a sweet tooth, unfortunately. Usually, I'll fulfill it with a sugar-free popsicle (which is honestly just fluids, so that's fine!) but I've noticed that I gravitate more towards a sweet protein shake or a nut butter than I will chicken or fish.
I may try it, but you're right, portions may be challenging in that context. I just want something sweet that still fits into my calories/carbs/protein for the day.
Thanks!
