Happy Monday! I hope your week gets off to a good start. For those who want to participate, the CAMAW/AMAW challenge starts in a week (I'll send out a reminder on Friday). MFP says my weight is exactly the same as one year ago, so that makes me happy, but I still want to do a carb detox next week. I had been bouncing around at the very top of my preferred weight range a couple of weeks ago and now have it bouncing in the middle. The lower end makes me feel safest.

QOTD: Hopefully this hasn't already been asked (if so, feel free to start a new one): What is your favorite cleaning implement/aid? I think mine is probably the swiffer toilet bowl cleaner because I don't have to get too close to anything yucky and there is no gross brush sitting around in the bathroom. I really like swiffer products in general as time savers.

1 year, 11 months post-op

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: Grilled grouper and coleslaw

S: Cottage cheese and/or yogurt and/or prosciutto mozzarella stick

I'm heading home today after a lovely weekend with my mom. But first, I'm meeting her for a neurology appointment to see if that doc has any advice on her Bells Palsy. Woo!

Last week of classes for me and the only major deliverable I have is a PPTX for my HMGT class.

QOTD: I really like Magic erasers. :)

1: oatmeal
2: cheese in the car
3: salisbury steaks

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: foot exercises and yoga when I get home

Today will be cooking, cleaning, working on projects and finishing that resume!

QOTD: My favorite cleaning tools are swiffer products as well. I love being able to throw them away once they are dirty. My second go to is ajax cleaner or soft scrub with bleach, a bucket with ho****er, a scrub brush or rag and some good old fashioned elbow grease. I know you probably think I'm crazy, but I love getting my heart rate up by scrubbing something. I feel double productive.

M1: Coffee, PP banana and cream, miralax

M2: Chinese BBQ pork

M3: LO American pork fried rice

M4: LO seafood chowder (made with almond milk and parsnips - very low carb) I'm going to post this recipe in the forums as it was delish!

E: Cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming.

Water/Vits: I've missed a dose of calcium or iron over the last several days. I've been experimenting with taking my pills only with meals and haven't been eating 4 meals so I need to go back to taking them differently. Water is on track and I have been getting close to 80 oz a day.

Good morning and HAPPY MONDAY!

QOTD: Hm. We are pretty southern and old school in our cleaning routines. We use washrags (which we wash, obviously) for most of our cleaning, along with bleach, ammonia, and some scrubbing bubbles, depending upon the item needing cleaning. I have a typical feather duster, toilet brush, straw broom, and squeeze mop. So...perhaps I need to buy myself a fancy cleaning item! :-)

B: Special K Protein Cereal

L: Homemade Buffalo Chicken Salad with cherry tomatoes and half a hard-boiled egg

D: Lemon Pepper Chicken with Broccoli

Snacks: Greek Yogurt and a babybel cheese (or maybe some peanut butter...man, I LOVE peanut butter lately)

Happy Monday! February is flying by. I am feeling better today, so I'm guessing I had a 24 hour bug.

QOTD: I use white vinegar to clean almost everything (except the toilet which gets bleach). I like vinegar because it's safe for the kids to be around (and even use on occassion) and it's a natural disinfectant. As for a tool, the magic eraser is amazing!

b - Protein shake

l - salami and mozzarella

d - shrimp ceviche, yum!

QOTD: I have my house professionally cleaned every two weeks, which is necessary as I work more than full time and have pets (and 11 grandchildren). Other than that, I prefer to use old rags for cleaning, with vinegar and water as the cleaning solution. I use old newspapers to clean windows. My family is heavily into recycling, composting, etc., and we try not to use disposable products whenever possible.

8 months post-op

B: Special K protein meal bar, coffee

L and D: Not sure. My husband had open heart surgery Thursday and I have my meals at the hospital, often just picking off his tray. If I go to the cafeteria to eat, it is usually sliced turkey breast with a vegetable and coffee.

S: Probably a half PB&J. I eat only high protein bread and use natural peanut butter with sugar free jelly.

Not great eating, and I need to eat more. I lost 10 pounds in the two weeks leading up to his surgery and since then. No appetite though, which is completely opposite my former stress reaction of overeating.
