Good morning, all! Fitness classes for me this morning and then I've got my monthly massage before I drive up to spend the weekend with my mom! And I've finished all of my school work that's due on Sunday aside rom replies to my classmates, so I'm in a great place to spend the weekend doing fun mother-daughter things :D

QOTD: What do you wish you knew more about? (I'll post my answer in a comment.)

1: protein shake
2: I don't know, since I'll be driving. Something from Wawa! They've got good protein options.
3: Again, I don't know since food for the next few days is up to my mom. Normally I eat deli meat for dinner the first night I'm there.

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: zenga class, tai chi class, pilates class

How about you? What's going on in your life this fine Friday?

Today is our last full day in CH and then we'll be heading home early tomorrow morning. The plan for today is to work remotely and eat the food that is left in the fridge. We have most of a dozen eggs because I keep flaking on eating breakfast, so it will be breakfast for dinner. Last night we had NC BBQ and I got BBQ Chili that had ground pork ribs in it. SO GOOD. I had only a couple bites because I also stole some of Jon's pulled pork, so I have that leftover for lunch.

QOTD: Currently, the NC Transit system. I really have no idea how to use the bus system and I wish I had someone to walk me around and show me how.

13 months post op/Maintenance:

M1: Coffee, PP, Miralax, HC

M2: Egg, Sausage, (maybe cheese if there's some left)

M3: BBQ Chili

M4: Scrambled Eggs & Sausage

M5: Yogurt w/ SF Pudding Mix

Good morning all! Missed yesterday as we went fishing from 6 am to after 8 pm last night. We had a glorious day. I haven't been able to do a full day like that and then come home and clean up in ages and ages. It was WONDERFUL.

QOTD: I wish I knew more about insurance and securities. I got my license to sell insurance, but never really fully dove in and got the additional licenses that would allow me to sell more types of things. To me that was always a wasted opportunity, especially since I understand the life part and know I could pick up the rest with a little effort.

M1: Coffee, PP vanilla, miralax

M2: Miso with pork bits and an egg

M3: Beef and barley soup

M4: Sous vide pork and edemame

M5: Spinach and mozzarella chicken sausage

S: None today (I have sworn off snacks for awhile).

E: Nothing specific.

Water/Vits: On track

I LOVE FISHING. Deep sea fishing is the most fun, but we rarely get to go. I think I've been twice.

We have a nice lake nearby, but I'd really love to have a BOAT.

Congratulations on your weight loss! I see that you are BREEZING through the 300s!! :-)

Thank you! I love deep sea the most as well, but I rarely get to go. Pier fishing is my mainstay now. DH and I have a cart that I pull behind the wheelchair (with a hitch and everything!) It carries our coolers, live bait, poles and all the other essentials. Fishing is what we did on our honeymoon. We loaded up his van and went up and down the coast hitting different spots. We had a BLAST!

Good morning and Happy Friday! We had a bit of a scare yesterday in the district; one of the kids sent a snapchat video of himself holding a rifle and saying he was coming to school with it. Luckily, the district reacted appropriately and he is in custody and receiving some evaluations. I know sometimes kids think it's funny to follow up a tragedy with a joke, but I wish they would understand how serious it is.

I have tests planned today in all my classes, so it should be a pretty easy day for me!

QOTD: Honestly, I love to learn and there are SO many more things that I wish I knew more about. Anthropology and Sociology are my two hobby "interests" and my minor is in Sociology. I'd love to know more about the psychological aspect of Sociology and I think it would be interesting to conduct some actual research studies on the effects of obesity and interpersonal communications.

B: Special K protein cereal with skim

L: turkey, cheese, crackers

D: Not sure...the wife is out of town for the evening so I may not cook. I'm thinking salami, mozzarella, and a little peanut butter. (I'm a weirdo)

Snacks: Babybel Cheese, Nonfat Greek Yogurt

My undergrad major was social psychology! Definitely a great area of fascination for me as well. I don't think I have the head for research, but I greatly admire and appreciate those who do!

TGIF!

Today I take Mom to get a pedicure, and to the mall. It gets her out of the house and I get to spend time with her.

QOTD: I wish I knew more about gardening. LOL so silly but I do. I am going to attempt to grow zucchini in a planter (we rent so I can't actually garden).

B: sausage links, plain Greek yogurt w/ Honey & blueberries

L tuna salad with pickles (someone posted a few times and I had to have it), with 1 slice of bread and peppers

D: not sure, depends where Mom wants to go. Kind of want a burger.

S if needed; mixed nuts, or hummus and peppers

no exercise today, unless pushing a wheelchair around a mall counts.

Water and vits on track

Hi guys. It's a work from home morning and then my sister and I are surprising our mutual friend for her birthday by taking her up in a small plane. (Well, a pilot will take us up). She's never flown before because she's afraid but she put it on her "before 30" list and she turns 30 next week. Hopefully she'll be excited and not horrified. I'm nervous about making her nervous!

QOTD: it depends. If it's knowledge that could just appear in my head without me having to work for it, I'd like to have a better understanding of mechanics and maintenance of cars/household stuff. I feel like that's a total blind spot for me, buuut I have no interest in reading about it or taking a class on it haha. If it's knowledge I have to work for I'm always trying to learn more about the brain and specifically trauma and the brain. I love learning about that and I'm willing to put in the work!

b - Protein shake

l - beef and cheese burrito

d - out with the girls. Hopefully seafood

Good morning and happy Friday! It was a very long day yesterday taking my elderly friend on her errands, a lot longer than I thought it would be. I got to spend some long overdue time with her though, and that's always good. Taking my mom to the casino today(40 miles away), it will be a really nice drive since it's so sunny out today.

QOTD-There is A LOT I wish I knew more about! I strive to know more about our universe, I love watching all of the space programs on the science channel, but still have a hard time wrapping my head around a lot of it. I also wish I knew more about Middle Eastern religions, our local Community College offers classes about this that I might take in the future. There is a lot more but this is my top 2 at the moment:-)

B-1/2 Ezekiel sprouted muffin w/1tbsp almond butter

L-turkey and string cheese roll ups

S-Chai tea

D-Tuna casserole(I will try and eat around the pasta) and steamed asparagus

E-Walk the dog

I hope you all have a wonderful Friday!
