Happy Wednesday, all! I'm up and mostly ready to head off for fitness classes, just need to finish drinking my shake. I'm looking forward to a lovely day - fitness classes in the morning, schoolwork in the college library, lunch with a friend, and then more schoolwork once I get back home. Today's main goal is reading to get my discussion posts up.

QOTD: If you had a clock that would countdown to any one event of your choosing, what event would you want it to countdown to? (I'll share my answer in the comments!)

1: protein shake
2: Indian (uncertain if we'll do the buffet or not)
3: chicken piccata, since I have the chicken thawed and didn't cook on Monday due to TIME. Pasta for the guys.

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: pilates class, yoga class

How about you? What's going on for you on this lovely Wednesday?

Good morning! We have a busy week coming up following BIL's arrival this afternoon, so I may walk dogs at the shelter mid-day (and check on my favorites).

QOTD: I would have the clock counting down to our trip to Europe in September. At least I hope we are going. SIL is supposed to make the initial arrangements but keeps putting it off. It is hard for me to be patient even though I hate to always be the one making plans these days.

1 year, 10.5 months post-op

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: Crab Stack (at Bahama Breeze restaurant)

S: Cottage cheese and/or yogurt and/or prosciutto mozzarella stick

I think I would have my clock countdown to the "day I get offered a job in my field." That way I wouldn't have to stress quite so much during the job search when I get there, because at least I would know that I WOULD be hired, and when.

Morning! Today I get to meet my new boss and the twelve people who will be my team. I'm excited and nervous! I'm partially nervous to figure out where the building is, lol. We have driven by it but it's going to be a new experience for me dealing with 'no car' areas of campus and where to park and walk. I plan on taking the bus on a regular basis when I'm working for real.

QOTD: Well, if you had asked me about a month ago I would have told you that I had a countdown clock to my plastics. But, now I'd say I'm looking forward to and counting down to our move which is 1 month from today!

Peanut Butter. I do whole fat plain greek yogurt, SF pudding mix and peanut butter (and sometimes add nuts as well).

I use cheesecake flavor. I've also tried chocolate, vanilla, and butterscotch. I like lemon with pecans (but no PB). I use real PB, Jiff in fact - 2 TBSP. I have the calories for this and I always make it my last (of 5) meal of the day.

Happy short week Wednesday - lol

QOTD: Short term, I would count down to my vacation in June - booked a week in Aruba. I enjoy nothing more than a relaxing week at the beach. Just me and my husband going (a rarity since our kids often tag along on our vacations, which I love).

Funny, Gwen, I think I would like to count down to retirement. I have worked since I turned 16 and look forward to the day when I don't anymore. However, there is no end in sight - my husband is on permanent disability and we need the health insurance at a minimum. Luckily I like my job and coworkers, so go to work I will - most likely for another ten years. I am hoping to maybe cut down my hours when i become a grandmother so my grandchildren don't have to go to daycare...but nobody is complying with that!!! LOL

B: cheerios, tea, iced coffee

L: boiled ham, hawaiin roll

D: grilling since it's in the 70s - hot dogs and hamburgers. Probably just a mini burger on a hawaiin roll - how do you spell Hawaiin???

E: walk

L/V: good so far
