Everytime we go to New Orleans, we stop there for beignets and coffee!

It's an icon, for sure. The service is rushed and rude and the people are overwhelming, but we love it, haha!

Having an authentic beignet and chicory coffee in New Orleans is on my bucket list:-) Since it is such an icon I bet they are busy 24/7!!

So many collards lovers! I saw a picture of the short ribs online and they look amazing.

Well, I was born in San Diego. However, I spent most of my life in Mississippi. Catfish, fried steaks and chicken, and lots of collards are basically available EVERYWHERE, lol.

Smoked chicken wings or smoked salmon, with the collards or the house vegetable. Delish!

I've been craving beef lately, so either the pimento cheese burger (half the bun and maybe a 1/4 of the fries) or the short rib. The menu sounds delish!

OK now interesting menu. Mind you, I couldn?t eat all this, but would love to try.

Oysters. Love

deviled eggs- need to know why these are good enough to be on the nenu.

Entrees- catfish or shrimp and grits, love them both

this is tough though because there is shortrib

sides - succotash curry. Namesake dish- have to try.

Desserts? Meh. They don?t look that exciting

I'm late to the game so you've already eaten by now.

But I would pay a good hunk of change for a bowlful of bourbon-infused butter. Just the butter. I wouldn't need anything else. ;)

I would definitely order the short ribs with collard/kimchi/country ham. Short ribs as leftovers are awesome. It sounds delicious and the leftovers would be outrageous!
