What would you order here?
Hi all! I'm going here for dinner tonight, so I thought it would be fun to post a "what would you order here" post.
The rules: price isn't a factor and you're commenting with what YOU would order, not with what you think I should order.

Unless there are some amazing specials, I'm going to go with the Smoked Atlantic Salmon or the Spice Rub BBQ Pork Ribs. The 22 Oz. Bone-In Smoked Beef Short Rib is also appealing, but I don't want to have leftovers for days.
I'm hoping that Art will split the Butter Pecan Cookies with me - I had one last time I was here and it was delicious :D

I'd probably get either the Spice Rub BBQ Pork Ribs or the Crispy Local Blue Catfish (no aioli). I'd also consider the seasonal soup, depending on what it is that day.

I would ask wifey to split the 22 oz. short rib with me...she would probably order the bacon mac'n'cheese, but I want to try the collards and kimchi. I LOVE slow-cooked collards and I love jarred kimchi, so hopefully this combination would be amazing. :-)

I think someone made the collards and kimchi for the Cookbook Club we did from the chef's cookbook last year - it was delicious and I don't tend to like collards or kimchi!
The chef is really fascinating. He's Korean by ancestry but grew up in the American south, so his cooking style is a blend of his heritage. It's exciting that he's got a restaurant that's "local" to me!
