I have a question, I had surgery on 01/24/2018, I started out as 296 and I had my post op appointment on 02/08/2018. I had lost down to 275 and I have been on that weight every since then, I exercise 45 minutes a day and am constantly on the move, I have been following the post op diet to a T but still am stuck on this number. I was wondering if anyone else hit a plateau and did not lose any weight for a week or so, I am trying not to get discouraged but it's hard. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Search for "3 week stall" in the search link. It's very common and lasts anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. Just stick to your eating guidelines and you'll be fine.

Yes don't get discouraged. I reached a plateau for a couple of weeks as a matter of fact. My sister actually had the gastric sleeve in June and she ha**** a plateau as well and has gone back and forth. Do not get discouraged and just stay on the plan. Sending prayers your way

Hello- I had VSG surgery in December- I did have a 1 week or so stall at 3 weeks and honestly I have been the same weight now for about 2 weeks. It will pass- the most important thing I learned is to hold it out and try increasing my water and/or protein intake. Good luck- you got this!

I had my surgery on 11/24/2017 and I have found that there is one week every month (so far) thstvi lose nothing and one week where I lose 5-6lbs. The other 2 weeks its usually 1-3 pounds. I have no advice, I just want you to know it's been normal for me up to this point.
