Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Friday, 2/16/2018
Up early again for fitness classes - woo! After I get home from fitness classes I'll finish up my HMGT paper that got neglected yesterday due to friend time. Then it's research time for GERO! Hopefully today will be more productive school-wise than yesterday was... long lunches with friends will really screw the schedule!
QOTD: What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation? (I'll answer in a comment.)
1: protein shake
2: leftover sushi from yesterday
3: Warm Grilled Chicken Salad with Soy-Vinaigrette
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: zenga class, tai chi class, pilates class

QOTD: I think my presentation would be on "how to get into running/exercise after a lifetime of morbid obesity." I would want a white board and a Q&A period ;)

You ARE an early bird this morning, Gwen! DH and I are going to do 2 hours of dog walking this afternoon. Other than that, walking and the pool are on the agenda.
QOTD: Another good question (do you sense a stalling tactic?). I think it would have to be something from my life to be able to recall it easily, though when I was working there were projects which ate up a lot of my time which I probably could speak about at length.
1 year, 10.5 months post-op
B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: Chicken and mango sauce
S: Cottage cheese and/or yogurt and/or prosciutto mozzarella stick

Well, yesterday got derailed. DH and I went fishing instead. Probably a better choice than working on the purge of the tech closet. We will remain married a bit longer. We didn't catch anything, but it was lovely out in the warm sunshine and being near the sea. Today we head back down to Lake County to p/up mom.
QOTD: I could present an off-the-cuff class on any of the MS Office products. I could also do a no-prep presentation on government purchasing, contract negotiation and vendor relationship management.
M1: Coffee, PP caramel, miralax
M2: TBD - traveling
M3: TBD - traveling
M4: TBD - traveling
M5: TBD - traveling
S: Something protein forward if needed
E: Nothing specific.
Water/Vits: On track so far for today

Morning! I actually slept last night, so it's a good day. I even put clothes on this morning instead of PJ pants and a bathrobe. I'm not sure I have anywhere to go, but I always feel more human when I'm dressed.
QOTD: Diabetes. I can tell you pretty much everything you'd ever want to know about diabetes/blood sugar. Ask NYMom22, haha.
