Congrats, Ladyblu, on the waterfall removal progress!
QOTD: I am a very fast hunt and peck typer using mostly my index and middle fingers and sometimes the others, but no pinkies get involved!
B - coffee, yogurt, berries, grain free granola
L - cheese, salami, Triscuits
D - pork tenderloin, veggies
S - hard boiled egg, almonds
Good morning! A big "woo hoo" for the progress on your waterfalls Ladyblu! What a relief that must be!
Not much planned for the day, I have my monthly Bunko gathering tonight. I have been so close to winning the last few times, maybe tonight is the night:-)
QOTD-My parents made me take typing too, I think it was 8th grade. I am glad they insisted, I am a ten finger pro.
B-Ezekiel 7 grain sprouted bread w/1tbsp almond butter
L-Tuna with mayo, string cheese

Down 5lbs on Tuesday morning's weigh in!! I hope everyone has a safe and peaceful Wednesday.
Happy hump day! It is HOT and sunny here (no complaints).
QOTD: I'm a great typist on a regular or laptop keyboard (though backspace is definitely one of my frequently used keys for correction). But I'm usually on my iPad or iPhone where it is mostly 1 finger typing (I mess up with even 2 fingers on the smaller screen keyboards).
1 year, 10 months post-op

L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

Good morning! I'm very happy that it's Wednesday!
I had my 7 week post-op visit (from the day of surgery) yesterday, and my surgeon and his team are very pleased with my progress (almost as pleased as I am!)
I no longer have any food restrictions, but I do think the guidelines they gave me were very lax. I'm sort of in the "Do I listen to them or do I listen to people on here?" type of thinking. Regardless, I'm intelligent and I am losing weight well. If I stop, I will definitely adjust. I also like that the dietician and nutritionist both gave me their emails and office numbers. That seems like they really care! My new guidelines are to get 900-1200 calories a day, eating from all food groups. They didn't include any carbohydrate limits, but the nutritionist said to get at least 50-75 a day. I've been hovering around that bottom number, so that seems fine. They also reccomended that I try to get the majority of my protein from food, but that protein shakes were still fine to use, if necessary.
QOTD: I just took a typing test to ensure, and I hit 102 words per minute the first time and 96 words per minute the second time. That was fun. I would have definitely struggled in Grad school if my typing skills weren't already on point. I had a teacher in 7th grade that would put us on a typing website whenever we got done with our work early, and I ALWAYS got done early.
B: Two pieces of mozzarella cheese wrapped in salami
L: Turkey Taco Casserole (from bariatric foodie)
D: TBD..I am thinking that turkey bacon and protein pancakes sound like a winner!
I recently bought the Flapjacked buttermilk protein pancake mix. While one serving has 23g of carbs, I was only able to eat one of the four smallish pancakes I made the other day. DW had the other 3, so that fits into my plan as far as I am concerned. We eat them with a smear of PBfit and reduced sugar jam OR we wrap our meat into them for a breakfast sandwhich.
Snacks: 1.5 hard-boiled eggs (gave half to a student),

Finally getting my hair cut today and I'm excited! My hair never looks so good as right after a hair appointment. :)
QOTD: I'm a ten finger pro. ;) I grew up on keyboards, so I'm a pretty fast typer. :D
