I know, right?

I find calorie counting to be freeing. Because I know that as long as I'm tracking accurately, any "bad" days where I have gone overboard can be corrected throughout the week. It's a good feeling to be in control.

I know! It was a little work initially starting to track, but it literally takes 3 or 4 minutes, total, each day.

Calorie counting is freeing because I know exactly how big the hole I'm digging is, and what I need to do to climb out of it. If I gain a few and my calories have been good, it's freeing to know it's jus****er weight. Counting calories is freeing because, if I hit a stall, I know if it's just temporary, or if it's because I was eating too much.

Freeing is a great word. Knowledge is power.

Today was my 1,981st consecutive day on MyFitnessPal.

Thank you for your post! It's so true. I must admit to a lazy streak as far as my fitness pal which is one of the greatest tools ever. It tells you about yourself. That's another reason that I recommend obesity help to my friends and family.
