Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Thursday, 2/1/2018
My local museum is free on the first Thursday of every month and it's been a while since I last visited, so my roommate and I are going after work today. It should be a lot of fun!
QOTD: I've been reading a lot of mindless romances lately, because I've needed to disengage my brain a bit. But the last book of substance I read and loved was Hunger by Roxane Gay. Highly recommend! Not the most positive reflection of WLS, but really her thoughts on it were very brief and more of a "not for me" standpoint. And the rest of the book really resonated.
M1: Premier Protein + Cold Brew
M2: Bacon Ranch Chicken Salad + String Cheese
M3: Cottage Cheese
M4: Epic Bar
M5: 1/2 a Protein Bar

QOTD: What book are you reading right now? What's it about? Would you recommend it? If you're not reading anything at the moment, what was the last book you really enjoyed? Reading this cozy mystery series by Emma Watts called the "Witches of Crystal Cove". It is just a nice, easy read, no real violence and easy on the brain cells. No thinking, no worrying....
Today, is an all liquid day, AGAIN, until my body starts cooperating. Have been on so much Miralax, Colace, Ducolax, magnesium citrate and...tonight I start GoLitely. (I'm having PTSD just thinking about it!) If no "movement" by tomorrow, will be going to the hospital.

Trying to plan ahead my menu for the big game on Sunday. Before my sleeve I'm sure I crossed 10k calories.
I'm a believer that fluctuating calories vs eating the same about every day helps boost metabolism. At least for my body three good days of eating then an okay day is a good cycle for me.
