Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Wednesday 1/24/18
Morning, VSGers. It's Wednesday, and we made it halfway through the week! I had my 1-year Bari follow-up appointment yesterday. All is well and I will see them again at 18 months. Work has been very slow for me and I'm dreading going today.
QOTD: What's something that bothers you/creeps you out that other people find normal? For me, it's food eating contests. I literally can'****ch them, even in movies, without feeling like I'm going to be sick. This isn't a new 'little stomach' thing either.
12 months post-op/Maintenance/133.0lbs
M1: Coffee, PP, Miralax, HC
M2: Egg, Sausage, Cheese
M3: Salmon

Good morning! Today is a somewhat busy day here at our little haven in Florida and it looks like weather will cooperate!
QOTD: You mean some people find those eating contests normal? I'm with you on the yuck factor! My weird thing is watching/listening to other people brush their teeth. I have no problem brushing my teeth or even brushing my kids teeth when they were little. But I can't stand when other adults brush their teeth within my sight/hearing (though I'm glad they do it).
1 year, 10 months post-op
B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: part of cheeseburger (no bun)
D: leftovers (taco meat or non-noodle lasagna or grouper)
S: yogurt

I overdid it yesterday and am paying for it today. I deep cleaned the living room yesterday, even taking down all the heavy wall hangings and washing walls. Although I have a huge sense of accomplishment, today is going to be a light day as my knees are screaming.
QOTD: Spitting. Of course not everyone thinks this is normal and ok. I know I'm not alone in the yuck factor. The other ook for me is people blowing their nose in public. (Although I know when you are sick it is necessary and preferable to sniffing).
M1: Coffee, PP vanilla, miralax
M2: Miso/egg drop homemade
M3: LO Ribeye
M4: TBD
M5: LO Lasagna (no noodles)
S: Jerky or other protein forward snack if needed
E: None.
Water/Vits: on track

QOTD: What's something that bothers you/creeps you out that other people find normal? Watching reality shows like "Buried Alive: Hoarders" and believe it or not "My 600 lb life" (I feel that most people watch it to make fun of the people on the shows, which doesn't help their issues).

M1: Chicken
M2: 2 TBSP oatmeal and PP
M3: Cheese sticks or greek yogurt??

You know, maybe it is because I work in a psychiatry office. You would no believe how it can harm someone when they are teased and their mental disorders made fun of. I am forever telling my husband that until he has a compulsion he has no clue what they are going through, and shouldn'****ch. ARGH!!!
I love cooking shows also, but then, I love food and wouldn't be who I am today if I didn't!

Good morning, all! Time to get back on the wagon. Life has been uber crazy and my weight got crazy away from me over the last 4&1/2 months. I'm getting back on top of it cos I can't go back to where I was. Today, I start tracking food again.
AM: White Mocha with stevia white chocolate and SF peppermint
B: 74g chicken thigh, 110g cottage cheese, 30g jalapeno hummus
L: 60g chicken thigh, 80g cottage cheese, 20g jalapeno hummus
Post workout S: PP strawberry
D: 80g chicken thigh, 110g cottage cheese, 30g jalapeno hummus
Evening snacking is going to be a challenge for the next week. I've still got orange juice that I am finishing from being sick for two weeks. But I've started up my exercise again. I have tickets to the renn faire opening weekend on Feb 10th & 11th & I'd like to get close to wearing my new corsets I bought for my new size... Considering I've sold off most of my old stuff because it was 10" too big, now it's probably only 6" too big...
BACK ON TRACK!!!!
You must really enjoy chicken thighs, cottage cheese, and jalapeño hummus!
