RNY to VSGV Revision
I honestly haven't seen or heard of anyone going from bypass to sleeve. It is usually the other way around due to acid. I know some have done bypass to DS, but that is a very detailed procedure and you need a highly qualified surgeon for it.
Can I ask why you want to revise to the sleeve? Is there a problem with your bypass?
Hopefully someone else can chime in and answer your question.
Same here. I've never heard of it being done.
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.
There was a woman who used to go to my support group who went from RNY to VSG. She used the same surgeon my mom did. He is a reputable one, but I do not remember why the woman had it done.

Are you doing this because you lost too much with the RNY? Do you have any malabsorption from your RNY? Will they be reconnecting your intestines? Do they reconnect the pylorus valve? Sorry for all the questions but I've honestly never heard of this. I've heard of revisions the other way - VSG to RNY or DS - but never RNY to VSG.
