So... yesterday, I painted a built-in bookshelf that my husband built 10 years ago. (Finally, right?) I had to get down on the floor to do the bottom most portions. In the past, getting down was easy, gravity took care of that. But, getting up was always a big problem. Yesterday, I rolled over on the floor (still not pretty, that I can tell you), but then Shoop! I got up. WOW! Just WOW! I may get down on the floor again today, just to get up again!
QOTD: What is your decorating style? Modern, Country, Asian, Eclectic or something else? My main style is Gothic. My husband loves dragons and medieval stuff and I soften it with vines and flowers. If anyone ever threatens us in our home, we have enough cutlery on the walls to slice and dice them into submission!

It is freezing (literally) here in southwest Florida. Even though the sun is out with no clouds in the sky it is 30 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm still warming up from my morning walk (but I went!).
QOTD: I guess my decorating style is fairly traditional. On Cape Cod, it has a sea coast feel and here in Florida I'd like to go a little bit tropical with colors (right now it is pretty bland from the previous owners).

Lance secured Noma reservations for us this morning! Super exciting. And I found out that I need to renew my passport since it expires too close after my planned Norway trip. "Yay." At least I'll get to travel with a current picture.
I've got another busy day today. I have some work due tonight and then I want to try to get ahead on my two upcoming big projects. I'll be heading out to take a walk around 3pm, when it's supposed to be warmest and sunniest. I might even try to do some running intervals since I think I finally feel safe with my healing to do that!
QOTD: I'm not sure I have a decorating style. When it comes to furniture, I prefer things with clean lines - mostly Scandinavian.

Congratulations on getting up off the floor, it sounds funny, but it's a big deal LadyBlu!!
Came close to winning one of the pots at Bunko last night, there was about 20 people so it was worth $100:-) I tried to go on a hike yesterday but it was way too icy, so I am going to try another trail today. This afternoon I am going to finally put away all the Christmas décor, I think it is time!
QOTD-I would say my style is "earthy." I try to bring the outdoors inside by using a lot of earth tones, woodsy décor and birds. Not western, more natural.

Morning (just barely). So I am officially down 30lbs this morning since surgery. Slow, but steady. This month is definitely better than last as far as total lost. My official three month will be next Wednesday.
QOTD: I like rustic with a twist of eclectic in there.
