Why not Mexico
Over the years, I've seen many excellent reports on this website from people who go to Mexico for surgery and are very pleased with the quality of care. Research well, and then do it if it feels right.

I had my surgery with Dr. Alvarez in mexico in 2010. I highly recommend him. Him and his entire staff are FANTASTIC! I was 18 years old at the time and weighed 350 pounds. I lost 200 pounds and kept it off over the years. I felt so safe and comfortable the entire time! Feel free to message me if you have any questions!
