Good afternoon,
QOTD I would rather be hot than cold.
B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese
L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp Apple
D ham and broccoli
Have a good day
We got some snow today, but since it's so cold it's not heavy. We're expecting only about an inch or so, I can live with that! Wind chill in the teens, but that seems warm compared to the last couple of weeks! I'm just staying in and staying warm...me, a good book, some Netflix, and coffee!
QOTD: Definitely cold, for the same reasons as LadyBlu. You can only take off so much when it's hot, but you can always layer and burn stuff if it's cold! LOL
B: Yogurt and peanut butter, coffee w/cream and xylitol
L: Tuna w/mayo, zucchini slices
D: Hamburger patty, and cauli rice risotto w/butter and parmesan (that I didn't have yesterday).
Water and vites on track
E: Nothing but what walking I do until I get my cortisone shots in my knees on Friday!
Much easier than people think.
Most common is 2 tea active dry yeast, 1 tea sugar, 1/2 tea salt, in 1/2 cup ho****er (kitchen aid) Add 1 TBL olive oil and 1.5 cup flour, knead for 5 min. I portion into 2 balls coat in olive oil and rest in covered bowl to double in size. I'm starting to shape by hand, but a rolling pin is faster. I used a pizza pan for a long time, but like the crust better on a pizza peel that's taken some practice to get used too. 500 degree oven for about 6-8 min. One of my fav toppings is maybe 1/2 cup olive oil and 3/4 garlic bulb minced. Saute on low heat for 5 min. Top pizza with garlic sauce to coat (there is extra), shredded cheese, green pepper rings, and roma tomatoes sliced thin and lightly salted to draw out moisture and boost flavor.
It is 23 degrees here in Maryland, not too bad!
QOTD: This is a hard one, but If had to choose between extreme hot or extreme cold I would definitely choose hot. Only because I love the outdoors and my mood tends to improve in the summer. I do love winter also.
M1: Isopure fruit punch
M2: steamed chicken and vegetables (well one broccoli floret)
M3: turkey luncheon meat and baby bell cheese on ?unsalted? saltine crackers (3) w/spicy mustard.
M4: On the menu: Baked jerk chicken wings and kale. Probably 2 wings and a spoon full of kale.
Water: 3 cups in, working on it.
Vitamins: on track
Good evening! I was up early and then out to the movies for the day. I saw Phantom Thread and I, Tonya. Woo! Sadly I forgot to take a protein bar, so I picked up lunch from the local cheese shop.
QOTD: Super hot. I like being cool at night, but not cold since I actually can't sleep when it's very cold :/ I used to prefer cold pre-weight loss.
1: protein shake
2: all the cheese!
3: Chicken Soup with Asparagus, Black Forest Ham, and White Beans (cooking right now, can't wait)
liquid and vites: lolz, I forgot to take all of my pills while at the movies. I should be able to get in at least some of them today
exercise: yoga before bed
