Whatcha Eating Today VSGers Saturday 1/13/18
Morning! It was a whiteout when I woke up at 4:30am and it was a white out when I woke up at 6:45am. It's snowing so hard out there! Yesterday, it was 60 degrees and all the snow (except for banks) was gone. I guess it's good to get a reset once in a while. At least we have somewhere to plow the snow to again now. Sadly, we got about 1/8" of ice before the snow, so the roads are pretty terrible. Tonight is forecasted to be 80 freaking degrees colder than yesterday. Today's goal is to clean the girl's rooms! We'll see how far we get on that. They also want to bake cookies, but that might need to wait for tomorrow.
QOTD: What's your favorite rainy day/snow day past time? I love to color. I just bought a new set of brush tip pens and I own a million coloring books! I also love to read.

Today will be a rare day of me being home alone. Mom is going to visit her grandsons (my nephews) and DH goes to the shop over the weekend. So, it's just me, the dog and the cats. I can either be really productive or really lazy. Haven't decided yet which it is going to be...
QOTD: We don't get any snow days, but we do get hurricane days. Unfortunately, we usually lose power so our standard distractions (computers) are usually unavailable. So, sleeping and reading.

Good morning! The temperature is supposed to change by about 40 degrees here between yesterday and tonight. An 80 degree change is unbelievable!

Hi there! I'm not enough of a morning person to post here early on hike days. It's all I can do to get myself out the door and remember my shoes! I am supposed to go on another hike tomorrow, but I wrenched my neck on this one when someone excitedly pointed out a bird behind me and I whirled my head around to look. Now I can't turn left or right. Ridiculous way to hurt yourself and I'm not a bird fan, so what was I thinking? I'm icing now in hopes it feels better by morning.
QOTD: On rainy days I snuggle in and watch the rain and tv. Very lazy.

Good evening all! Yesterday was a looong day. I've been up since Noon, but just now got my brain to work lol. I hope you've all had a great week. My birthday Thursday was a bit of a bust...potential ice caused me to cancel dinner plans with gals from work, so we're going to try again on Monday. I'm so excited, though...next Wednesday is the annual get together for my surgeon's weight loss program. When I went to my one-year checkup, they asked me if I would please be there as I've done so well, so even though it's at 5pm on a work night and a 2 hour drive each way, I'm going. I'm excited and have a new outfit to wear. Fingers crossed the forecast stays the same and we don't get any bad weather!!
QOTD: Rain or snow, I like to read or play computer games. I particularly like to sit with a nice cup of coffee, listen to some soft music and the rain, and read.
