NSVs-just a few months in
I share this, because when i was in initial stages of pre & post op I couldn't get enough of the success stories to keep me encouraged. Running up & down stairs, prior 1 step @ a time, knees were in bad shape. Fitting into new sizes I haven't seen in quite a while. Stamina. Excited for family vacation, & swimming -1 of my favorites, that I've been to embarrassed to do for too long. Last year I had to ask for a seatbelt extender-mortifying, though stewardess wad extremely gracious! Still an introvert by nature, but no longer dreading social events because I have nothing I like to wear. Bought a fitted dress for the 1st time in ages. Spent the day in NYC with my husband, walked & walked, & loved every second, didn't dread the distances from parking lot to restaurant to theater. Life is fun again, & i know it'll only get better& better
