Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Friday 1/5/18
Don't despair. I stalled for almost 3 weeks at around 6 weeks. (Actually, I gained 2 pounds). And then I suddenly lost 9 pounds in a week. Your body is fighting back. It thinks you are starving it. It will adjust and then you will lose again. Of course, IMO, it doesn't hurt to vary your calorie/carb intake slightly week to week. I feel it keeps my body from compensating as nature always tries to find a balance. None of this is based in science, but rather in experience so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt. This is what has worked for me.
Stalls early on are completely normal (they are often referred to as the 3 week stall) and they are to be expected (something I only know thanks to this forum!). Knowing that kept me from freaking all the way out when I hit a 2 1/2 week stall at around week 6. I tried everything, and the scale didn't budge, and then suddenly I went right back to losing.
