What are your daily calorie amounts?
I'm 5'9" and female. (Height and gender I would assume are factors in what calorie levels wok Right now I'm maintaining OK at between 1400 and 1600 with some days up even higher, but average is probably around 1500.
I'm not anywhere close to being a vet, but my inclination is to up the calories a bit for a while, see how that affects the scale. Weight starts creeping up, back the calories back down. My research is indicating that calorie counting is nowhere near an exact science, and results are highly indivdiual. What works for me is unlikely to work for everyone else.
Good luck!!

Calories vary a lot from person to person. Why are you getting more hungry? Are you still primarily eating dense proteins? Are you getting 64+ ounces of liquids a day?
It's hard to know if 1500 calories per day is right for you. Really the only way to find out is to try. I'd recommend that you start adding in 100 calories per day to your current intake for a week and see what happens. If your weight decreases, try adding in another 100 calories per day. Figure out what your calorie limit is.

You also don't say - have you reached your weight goal? Or are you still trying to lose weight?

You'll find numbers all over the map. The question is, how many do YOU need to lose, maintain, or gain. If you eat more and start to gain, you'll have to cut back. I would keep a real close eye on yhe scale if I intentionally started eating more.
It's a bad idea to let a website, even one as worthwhile as MFP, dictate how much we eat.
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.
I'd be leery using mfp #'s as a wls person. Those numbers are usually for the general population, not so much so for us.
I'd look into why you're more hungry. Maybe you need a ppi? Maybe more water? Did you up your carbs lately? Start an exercise routine? I know for me whenever I upped my carbs I feel more hungry, same thing with exercise.

It really has to do with your resting metabolic rate and your activity level. You can often find a place to have an RMR done. I'm 5'7" tall, 130lbs and 34 years old. I eat 1,700-2,300 calories per day total and I normally net around 1,700. My RMR came back at 1,540 about 10lbs ago. I run about 10 miles per week and my higher calorie days are my run days.
Edited to add: I track everything. Always. Every possible time I have a scale available I weigh and measure everything too. Every single bite, lick, and taste is logged and if I can't log it - I don't eat it.

As others said, your calorie needs will be specific to you. I figured out my maintenance calories by raising my calories slowly after I reached my personal goal weight until I stopped losing. Then I logged my daily weight and calories on an excel spreadsheet for many months. I also had an RMR (resting metabolism rate) test which confirmed that the average calories I felt were best were correct.
I maintain on an average of 1350 calories. I am 5'3", am only slightly active (mostly walking), and weigh 115-118. I tend to eat more a few days a week and less the remaining days.
