Good morning and yes, goodbye 2017!! I'm ready for 2018, it's going to be a good year for all of us!!
We aren't -25 degrees like you Erin, but we are holding at a steady zero degrees. I had to rescue Emmy this morning, her little feet went numb and she looked so pitiful:-) I am sore from all the shoveling yesterday, my car was finally plowed out at 3pm. It's sunny and clear blue skies out today, no more snow is expected. So that means my plane should take off on time and as expected on Thursday, woo hoo! This will be my first airplane seat experience since surgery, I will be able to buckle in this time instead of hiding the unbuckled belt under my shirt due to embarrassment.
No major plans for NYE, watch Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen do the countdown then off to bed.
QOTD-If try not to make any resolutions.
B-Greek yogurt w/SF vanilla syrup and pumpkin seeds
L-HB egg and string cheese
S-Chai tea with cream & stevia, 1/2 sm apple
D-TBD, maybe out to dinner or cook, not sure
E-Will take Emmy on a hike if temp goes above 10 degrees
I hope everyone stays safe and warm this NYE, have fun if you have plans!
No big plans for NYE...my sister still recovering from a bad cold, I don't drink, and it's too damned cold to be out at that time of night (wind chill expected to be -14 at midnight)! I'll be home watching something good on Netflix or Hulu. I hope you all have a great night, though!
QOTD: I don't make resolutions, but 2017 was a great year because it is the year I lost the weight and met my goal. I got into a size 14 before the end of the year, which is mind boggling since I haven't been that size since 9th grade! Started this journey stretching out size 30/32 knit pants!! Found a great job that I really like, whi*****luded meeting some great new friends! And FINALLY had my hysterectomy, so 2017 was pretty good!
B: Yogurt and coffee
L: Smoked pulled pork, zucchini slices w/cheddar bacon ranch dressing
D: Ham and cheese, fauxtato (cauli) salad
Water and vites on track
E: Nope!
on 12/31/17 1:10 pm
QOTD: I didn't set any goals last year, but I knew I was having surgery. I wasn't sure how long the weight loss would take and didn't want to set myself for failure by setting goals around it. But I was so pleased how it turned out!
Last night I worked on a Rose Parade float. So much fun!!
Thousands upon thousands upon thousands of flowers for 15 floats. I came home covered in glue and dried parsley. Every surface has to be covered in an organic substance, so they get super creative! I loved it and can't wait to do it again next year!
B - coffee and yogurt
L - real good enchiladas (didn't love the chicken ones. So far the cheese is the best, followed by beef. Next up is pork. I think I'm going to email them and suggest less salt. I love salt and they are a bit too salty for me)
D - lobster, baked potato, superfood salad, small glass champagne
S - sugar free vanilla latte with 2% milk, roasted broad beans,
