Good morning all! I can't believe that 2017 is almost over. It seemed to go really fast and yet a lot happened.

QOTD: What changes did you experience in your life in 2017? DH and I bought a place in Florida, he went into a clinical trial, we became active in an Alzheimer's support group, DH stopped driving, MIL died in May, Duchess (doggie) died in early December, and I retired. Wow - that seems like a lot when I write it down!

1 year, 9 months post-op

B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Deli turkey and cheese

D: ? - maybe shrimp? (at SIL's for a "****tail" party but it will probably be my dinner)

S: ? (SIL party again)

Morning! We are at the hotel with the water park with the kids. About to take them down for another swim/play and then we'll check out and do some shopping. I just ran a 5k with only 5-6 minutes of walking. I'm on top of the world! Lol.

QOTD: I had WLS, lost 100lbs, starting running, no longer take insulin for my diabetes (after 21 years). I feel like my whole life has changed!

Those are some big ones! Good for you for supporting your other half through this. I wish I had had a cheerleader.

I get to decorate a Rose Parade float with flowers today! I'm so excited.

QOTD: I had VSG this year, lost all my excess weight, and started maintenance. My Dad went through chemo and radiation and the cancer came back. He's still fighting. So a very good year and a bad year all in one. Life can be beautiful and ugly all at once.

B - eggs, bacon, coffee

L - real good pizza

D - ?? I'll be in Pasadena working on the float

S - yogurt, pear
