It's normal to have some soreness around your incisions. Are they hot to the touch or oozing at all? Are you running a fever? If so, you may have an infection and should call your surgeon. Otherwise, you can put a heating pad on the incisions and take some Tylenol, things will get better with time.

Pain around the incisions is pretty common. Some have it worse than others. Only one of my incisions really bothered me and it was the largest one where I'm guessing they removed the portion of my stomach.

I had a lot of pain with my incisions and let me tell you... A HEATING PAD WILL BE YOUR BEST FRIEND! I slept with one on my stomach every night for 3 weeks. (I have a low pain tolerance so I was a baby when it came to the surgery/recovery.)

Do not be afraid to ask questions on here:)

I had a lot of pain at a couple of my incision sites. Some swelling should be normal as long as it is not coupled with warmth, drainage, or fever. Jus****ch it and if it worsens call the surgeon. Heating pad and pain meds helped.. No ice because that delays healing. Feel better.
