Absolutely possible. One week post-op you shouldn't have any gas left in your abdomen, but you may still have some fluids and whatnot hanging around.

Switch to leggings or PJ pants and get comfy!

Oh girl, I wish I could get in some PJ's or leggings but I am back to work and they frown upon pajama's in the work place LOL. It feels more like swelling than bloat

yes it can be swelling, however if it continues into another month I would just have a check up to make sure everything is ok. No need to worry yet. Welcome to the loser bench!

I had the belly-swelly for about 2.5 weeks! Everyone's different, some have flat stomachs in few days, some in weeks. I think it's normal. For me- i could feel my waist going down in inches but when I measured my belly button it was more than before the surgery. It will go down, It's my 3rd week post op and my belly is fine now :)

I buy Chico Travelers pants. They are business like and even while losing - They often lasted me 2-3 sizes. New are expensive but I get mine on sale, or get from Ebay or thrift stores.

I don't think I wore real pants for the first 3 weeks after surgery. Definitely, find something you can wear to work with elastic waist. I did a lot of dresses/tunics with leggings.
