puree diet
I'm almost 2 weeks post op and getting ready for the puree stage. what kind of foods do you puree? I've never done this before and not sure about it. any suggestions?

I pureed whatever I cooked for my family and it was awesome. So nice to have flavor again! I mainly did "meats in sauce." So meatballs with some spaghetti sauce, chicken in curry, chili, things like that.

Do your post-op instructions have any more information for you?
A few things that some folks use:
- refried beans, pureed
- very moist chicken or turkey, pureed (try baby food!)
- canned chicken or potted ham
- Greek yogurt
- cottage cheese
- scrambled egg, left a bit on the wet side
