Morning! It's Friyay! I have my final exam this morning, which consists of presenting for 5 minutes and sitting the rest of the time listening to the other 15 groups present. She said there'd be coffee and donuts though (hold the donut please!). Once that's done the semester is over and I can move on to thinking about Christmas.

QOTD: What's your all-time favorite movie? I have to watch several Star Wars movies this weekend because my co-workers are taking me to see Star Wars on Wednesday...and I've never seen any of them Because I work in IT, I have essentially shamed my family over this and need to catch up. I am not a movie watcher, except if I go to a theater. I struggle with attention span at home. But, some of my favorite movies are Office Space, American History X, Dirty Dancing, and Battle Royale.

Good morning! One of our security guards has been out for a couple of months. He came back yesterday. He asked me if I was sick because I had lost so much weight. Not sure how I feel about that one . . .

QOTD - Erin, I don't have a great attention span for movies either, which is weird because I could read for hours. I bring easy knitting to the theater, which helps. My picks are childhood favorites - The Secret Garden and Little Women.

B - latte, cottage cheese

L - crack slaw (I was wrong about last night being the last - it keeps going and going)

S - protein shake with spinach, string cheese

D - green carnitas chili

E - leg day

water and vitamins on track

Sometimes people don't think before they speak. I'm sorry he was so rude. God forbid he would credit you with the effort that you have put in and just assume you must be sick to have lost so much weight. Some people have no mind-mouth filter.

He's known for having no filter (and prides himself on speaking his mind). He did seem genuinely concerned that I had gotten sick while he had been away for two months. It actually took me a second to realize that he wasn't suggesting that I looked pale / tired / etc.

I've had several people ask if I'm "well". I don't think I look sick at all, so I figure it's just folks not wanting to congratulate you on quick weight loss in case it was caused by something bad. It does make you second guess yourself though!

I cannot wait until someone asks me if I am ill. :) I will take it.

I've been asked before if I was "ok" too before they congratulated me on the weight loss. I think people are just careful sometimes.

I seem to be able to pay attention to movies in the theater but on my couch? Nope.

Happy Friday VSG'ers! Hope everyone has a great day!

These are the ones I could watch over and over.

The Last Unicorn! I was born in 1983, so that was a movie of my childhood and I just LOVED unicorns when I was a kid. That's what my room was decorated in. My 8-year old seems to be following in my footsteps, but they sure do have a much more glittery/sparkly presence now don't they?

Someone asked me if i was "well" once - because of the weight loss - and I hugged them and said it was the nicest thing anyone ever said to me, hahahaha- not insulted at all.

Some of my favorite movies are Moonstruck, Top Hat, My Big Fat Greek Wedding - I can't pass them clicking through without stopping and finishing the movie.

B: steel cut oats

L: going out - had avacado toast at this restaurant before and it was so good, I dreamed about it - might get that as a meal

D: IDK, unprepared in this holiday season, don't feel like cooking. Last night I ended up eating a bowl of crispix...ugh

L/V: good

Exercise: it's 15 outside, so just a quick walk!
