Another First
Ok, so this past weekend was my nephews 13th birthday and his party was at this big gym that had indoor bouncy obstacle course and a set up for a Nerf gun battle and things like that. At one end of the gym was a huge trampoline. At 39 years old I decided to act like one of the kids and for the first time in my life got on the trampoline. I have not laughed so hard in a very long time. I had always been afraid to get on a trampoline because I always had this fear that I would break it and tear through it due to being so big. I guess to some this may seem silly to have an NSV of bouncing on a trampoline but it was yet another reminder of how grateful I am to now be a healthy weight and be able to really let loose and have fun.
Thanks for taking a moment to indulge my silliness!

That isn't silly at all! Honestly...I have the same fear....although at 350 pounds it is probably much more likely!
Congratulations on your AWESOME NSV!!!

NOT silly. Fantastically, wonderful, exciting, stupendous NSV! How many times have we all looked on and not been able to participate in something because we thought we would break the equipment or hurt someone else because we were too big. Think fair... the sled ride... even when I was a lot smaller and could actually get on it, I would always sit to the outside as I felt that I would crush whomever was on the ride with me. And the one that spins and you stick to the wall? I was the only one who slipped down when the floor fell out.
I'm so happy for you! Keep sharing! This was a bright spot in my day.

Thanks so much. Yes I remember the last time I ever went on a fair ride, it was called the Gravaton and it was one where the floor fell out and the things we leaned on were supose to slide up the wall for us to float midair and mine would not slide up. It was so embarrassing. Never went on again.

Awesome!
One of the things I've had fun with since losing weight is SkyZone which is a trampoline park chain. It's great bouncy fun! And my local one offers fitness classes AND has a Ninja Warrior-type obstacle course.
I love that stuff :D
