What 67lbs looks like in measurements
Hi All :)
I saw my naturopath last night and she did my measurements. I was nicely surprised
I am nearly 6 months out from surgery and have lost 67lbs so far. Listed below is what I have lost in inches in that time. It certainly helps to keep you motivated when you see and visualise the figures.
Neck - down 1 Inch
Arms - down 1.7 inches
Chest - down 4.3 inches - Hubby is crying :)
Waist - down 4.9 inches - Now at the healthy range for waist measurements over here in Australia
Hips - down 5.9 inches - Smaller than they were 15 years ago !
Leg - down 4.7 inches
Doing a happy dance and aiming for my next goal now :)

That's amazing!!
I haven't done any measurements myself, but maybe I should. Congrats!

Thank you :)
You should if you can - its a huge motivator. I find I feel the clothes getting baggy and move down a size but actually seeing it on paper is great :)
The hips and leg measurements are largely due to the fact I can now walk - up for a knee reconstruction down the track and wasnt allowed to exercise except for swim & stationery bike. Thats all different now as I am not experiencing pain.
Not messed up at all. I'm just now finally getting used to seeing myself as the thinner person I am. For such a long time, I'd see myself in a store window or passing a mirror and didn't recognize it was me. Perfectly normal... after all, we were that other image for so long, it takes time to get used to the new one :)
