Thank you for the idea! I just went and bought some, my local market carried them. I bought them to eat with my sun-dried tomato hummus!

It's snowy here. Ick. And I'm cold. And I'm tired already from the morning because I showered, weighed myself (!), took pictures, and then garmented. Normally I shower and garment at night. Doing all of this together wore me out! I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere today due to both being tired and the snow.

QOTD: Why egg beaters instead of an egg? Yolks are healthy! I don't think that I have a favorite meal. Maybe skirt steak. I love skirt steak. Grilled with some chimichurri. Yum.

1: protein shake
2: chunk of cheese
3: sous vide curry chicken, sautéed curry cauliflower, rice for the guys
4: second protein shake

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: nope

Eggbeaters because I'm lazy. I use whole eggs in other stuff.

Yay, I get to participate!

It is a cold morning... very thankful I put on extra clothing today for my walk, the sun didn't come up until I was more than halfway finished! I need to find something today to cover my head/ears/face for walking and running. Don't know if they even carry stuff like that in this part of the state.

Had my one year surgiversary last week! Met with my surgeon and things are good. He told me "we're tied!" - we're the same height and weight (and therefore the same BMI). He's kind of built and hunky, so I felt really good about being compared to that, LOL!

I gave my NUT my logs and she was baffled at the lack of weight loss, so I'm adding a few more calories to my diet. She says I may not be eating enough given the amount of exercise that I do. Giving it a try by adding back a snack to my diet each day.

QOTD: Not something that I can fix, but my go-to dish at Mexican restaurants now is green chile con carne. Very simple, pieces of pork in a warm green chile salsa. Very tasty and satisfying. As far as something I can fix, I love making fried tofu in my air fryer.

B: 4 oz. cottage cheese

S: almonds

L: probably leftover Chinese

S: protein shake

D: ???

E: 13 km walk in the flippin' cold

Good morning! It's snowing here. I managed to get out for a walk this morning before the snow started.

QOTD - cottage cheese is my favorite WLS meal. It has to have lemon, salt, and pepper. Occasionally, if I have a rough morning, I eat it at school. The kids think it sounds disgusting.

B - latte, cottage cheese

L - baked ham and cheese roll ups

S - protein shake

D - crack slaw if I have time, leftover oyster stew if I don't

E - 1 mile walk

water and vitamins on track

Good morning! We normally sit in a few feet of snow by this time, not this year. We had our big first snow storm in early November, now nothing. The ski resort that's about 27 miles from me had to make snow for their opening day last week. The resort down the road from me isn't even close to being open yet. It's going to be a tough season for both of them if things don't change. We will be on fire this summer if we don't start getting some snow!!

QOTD-It's silly, but my favorite is my Chai tea with cream around 3pm. I look forward to that the most. Can't think of a favorite VSG meal. Coffee and tea with cream is the only thing coming to mind right now:-)

B-2% plain Fage with 2tsp SF banana pudding mix and pumpkin seeds, coffee w/cream

L-PP shake

S-Chai tea w/cream & stevia

D-TBD, possible turkey and some trimmings(National Guard community Christmas dinner)

E-Walk with my dog

Have a wonderful Saturday!

Hi all. Kids were up early today but it's cold and rainy here so everyone is getting cagey. Planning to finish decorating today, so hopefully that keeps them entertained for a bit.

QOTD: Still figuring that out, but I'm a big fan of cheese, so goat cheese caprese salad is a front runner.

M1 - Decaf Coffee w/ hc

M2 - chicken salad

m3 - leftover chick salad

S - protein shake

Good afternoon. Got up really early, but it was so cold, I went back under the covers around 10 and didn't get back up till one. It is 40 degrees in Jacksonville FL (in the middle of the day!) and we are NOT used to that kind of weather. I actually have the heat on. I don't envy all you guys who are dealing with snow. I did that for 30 years and am quite happy I'm done with iced car doors and howling winds. (I do miss looking at snow... but I can pull up a video on my TV and pretend... works for me.)

QOTD: My favorite VSG friendly meal is smoked turkey. I brine, cure, and smoke my own so I know exactly what is in it and how it is made. Another favorite is sous vide anything.

M1: LO Stuffed pepper and eggbeaters

M2: LO beef short ribs and Italian faro salad

M3: skipping

M4: Frozen Fage, protein powder and SF pistachio pudding

M5: Turkey and pork sausage sheppards pie (I'll scrape off the potatoes)

S: Coconut tea with H&H and a stevia packet. Jerky or a protein snack... depends on what of the above gets eaten

E: none today

Water and vits on track
