Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Wednesday 12/6/17
Morning VSGers! I woke up with a headache this morning. I think I need to push water today for sure. After coffee of course. Downstate is supposed to get a bunch of snow today, but I believe we're only supposed to get a dusting here. Our weather reporting is always (even more) confusing because we sit right on the border of the mountains and normally don't get what they predict for our 'area' to get.
QOTD: Open topic, someone please choose one!

QOTD: Choice: If you could pick one, would you want the ability to fly, breathe under water or see through walls?

Maybe one of your goals could be to go hang gliding one day? It sounds like you would really enjoy it! I've never done it, but I'm a little afraid of heights. Maybe one day. :-)
I love stuffed peppers of all sorts. I know I won't be able to eat them for awhile, but is there a recipe for your stuffed poblano pepper that you use? :-)

Wow... I'd never even considered hang gliding. Thinking about it gives me me mixed feelings. I'm afraid of heights as well (Can't even stand on a kitchen chair) but the thought of winging through the sky doesn't provoke that panic... Thinking about it gives me a peaceful feeling. Weird.
I've posted my recipe for Stuffed Poblanos:

Feel free to modify and/or enjoy!

Good morning! More sun here, but we are on the countdown for returning home to more seasonable weather in 5 days.
QOTD: Good question, LadyBlu! I've had dreams when I'm flying, but in real life I'm afraid of heights. I don't think I'd want to see through walls, as there may be things I'd just as soon not know about (LOL). That leaves breathing underwater. I do love the water!
1 year, 8 months post-op, maintenance:
B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese, and Canadian bacon
L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: Steak and veggies
S: yogurt or protein bar, nut thins and hummus

Good morning! I am wishing this next week would just fly by...the anticipation and nervousness about my surgery just seems to get worse the closer I get!
QOTD: I would definitely want to breathe underwater. While flying sounds amazing, that seems to be something you couldn't really hide from the world. Hm...you've given me an idea for a short story. It might be time to start writing again. Anyway, I would love to be able to dive into the ocean and stay under for a while without a large mask. It sounds exhilarating.
B: Vanilla protein shake with decaf coffee and splenda
L: 4 oz. baked chicken with half a zucchini
D: 4 oz baked chicken with hot sauce and half a zucchini
I start my liquid diet tomorrow, so my listings will be pretty monotonous.

QOTD: I would want to fly - in theory, it would burn a lot of calories and get me places more quickly. I would definitely want to fly if it meant I had an amazing 9-foot wingspan that I could summon at will.
1: protein shake
2: quiche (last piece!)
3: roast beef hash
4: another protein shake
5: and I will probably eat a piece of cheese today
liquid and vites: on track
