I've spent the last few days feeling super sorry for myself for having to cancel Thanksgiving. It think I'm not quite so pity party of one anymore. We'll see. I did change my next appointment with my surgeon from 12/5 to 11/30. (You can read about my recent recovery in the plastics forum if you're curious.)

My classes finished the day before my last surgery (I planned it that way) and it's so nice to be FREE until January 8! (Although I need to pay for the classes I've registered for. So far they haven't sent me a nasty note demanding money, so I haven't given them any!)

QOTD: So I'm dual majoring in Gerontology/Aging Services and Health Management Services and I had my first HMGT class last term. It was "Introduction to the US Health Care Sector" and surprisingly SUPER fascinating while, at the same time, strange because it focused a lot on the changes that came with ACA and the entire class I was wondering "will this even be relevant by the end of the class?" Considering classes are only eight weeks long... yeah. But it was interesting and the forum discussions were SUPER interesting. And surprisingly civil, which is a rarity.

Regarding meals? No idea. I'm in the "protein until you vomit" stage of recovery and.. yeah. Here's a guess.

1: protein shake
2: leftover bonchon chicken
3: maybe more leftover brisket with some slaw?
4: quest bar or another shake

liquid and vites: yes. (I slacked on vites while feeling pity the last few days. Need to get back to them. And OMG I understand why people get dehydrated after surgery. I don't want to drink because drinking means I have to get up and pee and that SUCKS.)

exercise: nope!
