Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Sunday, November 26, 2017
Good morning! We went to a great sand sculpting competition yesterday which a friend of ours is competing in. One of the sculptures is below. I did NOT sleep well last night again - I'm starting to think that driving late in the day raises my adrenalin which acts like late day coffee?
QOTD: If you could be an animal what would you be and why? I would like to be a well cared for dog. They always seem so happy and loving.
1 year, 8 months post-op, maintenance:
B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese, and Canadian bacon
L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: Roast Turkey and veggies (we are making our own so we have leftovers- no stuffing or gravy)
S: yogurt

Good morning! I got a new walking buddy yesterday. She's a mutt - we think ddachshund and pit bull. We named her Bumpy, after the dog in my son's favorite cartoon. I've been trying to post a picture. I managed to upload it to my account, but can't seem to add it to a post. I've done it before from my laptop but never from my phone. Any tips?
We have a baby shower for my cousin today. I know that they'll have deli platters, so I'll roll up some meat and cheese.
B - latte, cottage cheese
L - deli meat, cheese
S - protein shake
D - leftover turkey
E - 1.25 mike walk
water and vitamins on track

I click on the "Add Photo" thing in the left hand corner of the reply box and select the pic. Then I have to reduce the keyboard for some reason to click on the added picture to highlight it so I can then click on the photo icon next to the smiley face and reduce the size of the pic to fit the window. All my pics are huge before I do that.

After a very long day traveling yesterday, I slept for 12 hours. Heaven. I'm headed out soon for a hike.
QOTD: A dog would be a really good choice, but to be different I'll go with a bird so I could fly.
B - coffee and yogurt
L - real good pizza
D - BBQ brisket
S - Enlightened beans, cheese
Good morning! My surgery is in two weeks, so I'm not technically a VSGer yet (I hope that's okay!)
That sand sculpture is AMAZING. I've never seen anything like it. One day I hope to be able to live within 100 miles of a beach.
QOTD: I think I would want to be a cat. No one puts too much pressure on cats and I love laying in the sun! (It's bad for humans, though! Haha) I also enjoy knocking things over on a semi-regular basis.
B: GNC LEAN SHAKE BURN MOCHA
L: Roasted green bell pepper stuffed with 5 oz. lean ground turkey, half a diced tomato and a quarter of a diced onion, 1/4 cup canned spinach rinsed and sprinkled with cayenne on side
D: Same as lunch
Snack: 2/3 cup nonfat Greek Yogurt, Vanilla
E: I will probably walk laps around the playground while my nephew plays this afternoon.
Welcome! A lot of the most successful OH members start contributing on the menu threads pre-surgery. Best of luck to you (and congrats on getting your surgery date)!

Welcome! Do what you need to do to make this surgery successful for yourself. Before, during and after. Welcome to the group and soon it will be welcome to the losers bench.
