Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Friday November 24, 2017
I hope everyone celebrating had a fantastic Thanksgiving! We had a great time with friends. Though I had a bite of everything worth tasting, I felt very in control of my eating which I was pleased with. I think I had about 1400-1500 calories in total which I'm okay with.
QOTD: What kind of lighting/paint/decorating would you use to lighten up a dark room? The main room in our condo (open living room, dining and kitchen) is a little dark due to a very shaded lanai across the front windows. It is good for conserving on AC, but I find light to be essential to my mental health. Suggestions?

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: not sure yet - haven't gotten that far in planning (or shopping)
S: yogurt

Morning! I had a nice Thanksgiving and I think I consumed a similar number of calories, yesterday. I felt in control, but still too full (mostly due to dessert being so close to dinner, I should have just opted for a 'to-go' slice). I woke up at a new lowest weight though, so obviously I didn't screw it up too bad!
QOTD: You do not want me to make any design suggestions for you! I bought my house because it had enough inherent character to make decorating easy (old house = shabby chic).

It's left overs day. I have a whole day or turkey then I will probably be over it.
Breakfast - Turkey with leftover turkey gravy
Lunch - Turkey on wheat+protein bread and miracle whip
Dinner - Can you guess? Exactly. Turkey with a 1/4th c of stuffing. Let's see if I make it through today's meal plan without throwing the turkey out the window!
snack - Premier protein, fage yogurt
water - planning to be on track!
E - got a session with a trainer today for a core work out and likely cardio
We don't have any leftover turkey! Maybe we should roast a small one!

Happy Friday!
I did pretty well yesterday and still managed to eat a little bit of everything, which made me happy and not feeling deprived at all. Including pumpkin pie. Yummy.
Today will be a bit of a repeat of yesterday what will the tremendous amount of leftovers we have.
B - coffee and yogurt (wanted pumpkin pie, but controlled myself)
L - turkey and carrots, bite of stuffing
D - more leftovers
S - pumpkin pie!
At least pumpkin is a vegetable!

Happy Thanksgiving Leftovers Day! lol I hope you all had a wonderful day and didn't eat anything bad! :)
Just had a visit from an old friend who now lives in Colorado. It was wonderful to see her, it's been way too long. Made for a great day for me!
QOTD: Perhaps paint parallel walls a much lighter version of the color you now have? That way you lighten up the walls (and visually lengthen/widen the room if you need that as well) while still maintaining your color scheme. Also make sure your ceilings are painted white (if they aren't already) to give height and also lighten it up.
B: Dannon L&F yogurt w/sunflower butter and Fiber One, coffee w/H&H and xylitol
L: Turkey sausage snack sticks w/Swirls cheese sticks, fresh zucchini slices
D: Sirloin steak w/cauliflower rice risotto
Water and vites on track
The ceilings are high and white. The walls are mostly white too, but I do need to add some color - I like the idea of only painting some walls.
