Pre op liquid diet starts now

Well it's getting real now. My pre op liquid diet has just started and surgery is on the 29th. I didn't plan this real well by being on liquids for thanksgiving. Oh well a small sacrifice for the bigger picture. Not to mention all of the nerves in my house. My wife is about to drive me nuts worrying about it. Had my pre op appointment yesterday and one of the blood tests came back with an issue was supposed to be 1.2 and came back 1.25 and you would have thought I was dying.

Congrats on your upcoming surgery. Pre-op liquid is rough. I had surgery on 11/7 and I'm still on liquid, so right there with ya on thanksgiving. Best of luck to you.

Best of luck! My VSG was 10/18. You won't have any regrets. This is your road to good health. It's only food . On this Thanksgiving focus on family and friends and your new life ahead. I understand how you are feeling. My Thanksgiving meal will be 3 oz of turkey but I can do this!!! So can you ð?'?

Happy Thanksgiving and best of luck. You'll do great. I waited until after The holidays last year to get sleeved due to my work schedule and ended up gaining before surgery. I regret that because I just had to re lose it and it was a wasted opportunity. So think of your restriction as a good thing. Tough it through the day and you'll be better off.

You will do great. You have the right thought process by looking at the big picture.

Well thanksgiving was not a good day for me. Spent most of the day sleeping with a major migraine. I woke up at 3 am with a splitting headache. I guess it is from going to all liquid. But I did end up having 1 deviled egg. Oh no.
