Morning all. For me it's been the longest week on record. I'm still working at getting the bad carbs out of my diet. I'm allowing melon and protein bar carbs. trying to get back to the premier protein, etc. I've even mixed fairlife and van pp for my mochas.

QOTD: My first official 5K was in '85 or '86 in Columbus Indiana. It was sponsored by Hardees, where I worked at the time, but I can't remember what it was for. I've done a couple since. back in '01, I think, I jogged one. nothing since.

AM: SF white choc mocha w/SF hazelnut, fairlife and Van PP

B: cantaloupe

L: chicken, hummus, cottage cheese, avacado

S: cantaloupe

D: chicken, hummus, cottage cheese, avacado

S: Power crunch protein bar

Hi all! Getting ready to host my knitting group tonight. I say knitting group, but out of 10 women only 2 ever seem to knit anything! The rest talk, eat, and drink. Lots of laughing. I?m making a tart for dessert with fresh figs, pistachios, and honey. Hope it tastes good... Should be fun!

QOTD: I walked in a local 5k once for MS. I don?t run much as even at my goal weight, too much of me flops around for comfort. Maybe one day after plastics!

B - coffee and yogurt

L - pork carnitas

D - salmon and veggies

S - cheese and some fig tart

Good morning, glad you made it home safe and sound Erin.

Bunko was a bust last night, didn't win and it's pretty rare if I do:-) Feeling better today, I guess it was just an off day. Someone brought curry chicken salad last night so that is pretty much all I munched on, everything else was very carb heavy.

QOTD-I have not ever been in a 5K, walking or running. For some reason there isn't very many of them around here. When I lived in Colorado there seemed to be one every weekend.

B-greek yogurt with chia, flax and pumpkin seed mix

L-rest of tuna w/mayo, 1/2 an apple

S-string cheese and chai tea with cream and stevia

D-Stuffed acorn squash with hamburger and cauliflower rice

E-walk with the dog

Have a peaceful Thursday!

Morning all! I read every day, but sometimes I am not at my computer and I can't seem to post these from my phone without a ton of effort!

The great news is that after a 13 day stall the scale has moved! I am now at 203.5 (lost 1.5 since the stall ended). It's just so reassuring to know that I am doing this RIGHT! The rules and eating is SOOOO different from when I had my band placed in 2003. I was hoping to get below 200 by Thanksgiving, but I'm happy if not.

QOTD: I have never run for anything (good or bad). I'm not sure I ever will. Hiking and running are NOT my favorites, but maybe that will change. I do love Zumba and group classes.

B - Crustless eggbeaters quiche

S1 - 1/2 of protein shake

L - Buffalo flavored tuna (I love this If you guys haven't tried it) and 5 small green olives

S2 - Greek yogurt

D - TBD since hubs does all the cooking and failed to ask him what was for dinner

E - 2 mile walk this evening (still trying to get up the stamina)

Water and Vites are on track
