Morning! I'm home! Home sweet home, with all that I know and measure. Although, we do badly need to grocery shop. Today is going to be a long day. I have a full schedule of meetings from 9am - 5:15pm and then we have the kid's parent-teacher conferences from 6-7pm.

One of our flights home yesterday was incredibly turbulent. I'm happy that my girls didn't seem to mind much, but it was nerve-racking for me. It also required that I take Dramamine so I felt out of it the rest of the day.

QOTD: Have you ever walked/ran an official 5k? My first one is going to be our Hobble Gobble this Saturday. I don't know if I'm walking or running it yet, but it will be between 3 and 4 miles (it's a prediction run, so they don't tell you until the day of).

Good morning! DH and I are off to Boston today for a clinical trial appointment. It is supposed to be rainy so it will be a longer drive than usual.

QOTD: I used to run 8 miles a day multiple days a week on my own many years ago. I did run a 5K once and did pretty well for my age class, but I didn't really like running with a lot of people. I enjoyed doing my solitary runs in quiet areas much better. I wish I could still run and could run along the beach here (that was one of my favorite runs in the past but I didn't get to do it very often then because we didn't have the house here yet).

1 year, 8 months post-op (maintenance).

B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: ham and cheese

D: Leftover veal parmigiana (had 1/3 last night so I have 2 more meals)

S: yogurt

It is Thursday already, the week goes fast! Today is leftover day as you will see below.

QOTD: I don't think I've ever run. If you see me running, join me, because something really bad is happening behind me. However, there was a point in my life when I made a lifestyle change and began to walk and was up to about 3 miles a day. I hope to get back there at some point.

M1: Leftover wingstreet wings and lentil pasta

M2: Leftover Salmon pinwheels

M3: Leftover Progresso light Italian meatball soup

M4: Leftover venison with mashed cauliflower

M5: Shrimp

S: Jerky and LC cheese if needed.

E: Cleaning for Thanksgiving.

Water and vits on track.

Sorry to hear of your car accident. I'm glad you are ok. I'm with you on the running. I can get myself to walk, but running is over the top for me. Hope your car troubles will subside quickly. -- Carol

I also can't believe its Thursday already. This week flew by and Thanksgiving is approaching FAST!

Breakfast - salmon

Lunch - cheeseburger pie

Dinner - chicken and broccoli

I'm doing good on plan, but haven't seen any weight loss yet. I remember my mantra for weight loss -- Patience, Carol, Patience...

Have a good Thursday everyone.
