Happy Monday! It definitely is for me today as I leave in about 2 hours for my last drive to work to turn in equipment.

QOTD: What would your house look like if money was no object (size, style, lighting, age, furnishings, etc.)?

I would have a traditional New England seacoast house, restored, but with a modern kitchen (with traditional design). I?d want it to have lots of wainscoting and built-in details. Wood floors everywhere and lots of big windows with transoms. The furniture would be a mix of antiques (tables and wood chairs), with complementary, comfortable upholstered furniture. A lot of furniture would probably be white rattan, especially on the wrap-around porch which would have rocking chairs and a porch swing (and a view of the ocean). There would be a light and airy sunroom filled with rattan furniture (but with comfortable cushions).

1 year, 8 months post-op (maintenance). RETIRED (turning in equipment today!)

B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: ? (Out to lunch with my team)

D: Leftover lemon chicken

Morning! We had a busy weekend and the kids were wiped out yesterday. We all slept in until after 7am. Today, my husband is going for his training at the TTC so we'll be hanging around the hotel and maybe taking an Uber for some lunch. I'm going to let the kids play in the pool and use the coin laundry to get some clothes clean. Oh, and read my book! The kids have been watching a Futurama marathon (call us terrible parents if you will).

QOTD: The other night I was watching a show on HGTV about people buying houses after winning the lottery and I realized, I really don't need a dream house. If money wasn't an object I'd keep my current house (1901 built, used to be the rectory or the St. Patrick's church until the 1970's). But, I'd use the money to travel lavishly. Staying in rental properties instead of hotels!

9 months post-op/Maintenance

M1: Coffee w/ H&H and Miralax

M2: Egg Patty, 1 TBSP Cheese, Canadian Bacon

M3-M4: TBD

M5: Yogurt

Ooooh - you're asking about the Lotto Win house - for me it would be more than one. There would be a large (full floor of building) penthouse apartment on Rittenhouse Square here in Philly with a chef's kitchen, an office for my hubby, bedrooms for the girls and a guest room, a master suite, many baths and a large crafting studio for me for my sewing/knitting/quilting, etc. The second would be a coastal place on the Chesapeake - but almost South Carolina Coastal in style. Again - must have a huge kitchen and lots of space for entertaining.

B - Chocolate protein powder, Fairlife skim, 1 Tb PB2 and sugar free caramel and ice

S - Oikos Triple Zero

L - leftover steak and a salad

S - Sargento snacker thing

D - out with hubby and kid at a local tavern - depends on the special.

Keep on losing!

Sore today, did my usual walking - 8 miles on Saturday and 8 miles on Sunday, PLUS finally got my spouse out on the bikes yesterday. Hoping we can make it a very regular thing. We live in an area with a ton of bike routes. We can even bike to two of the nearby mountains and then go for a hike!

QOTD: Pretty much already have my dream house... late 60's design single story townhome, wood floors, floor to ceiling windows, not too big, not too small. I might move it to a slightly more posh neighborhood, but we're very happy where we are now. Except for the kitchen, that would get torn out and modernized, LOL.

B: 4 oz. cottage cheese

L: 4 oz. spiced up chicken

S: protein shake

D: air-fried brussels sprouts and a protein to be determined

E: at least 6 km and 120 flights of stairs

Just moved here from South Florida this past May. Never ran in the cold before. Have to buy lots of things. Jackets, long socks, sweat pants and shirts. It's quite a change for us.
