Today is out and about day. I'm heading to about 12 different errands and stops. Wish me luck. I'm going with mom rather than hubby so I will be the one taking the wheelchair in and out of the car. Whew... lots of exercise today! (I couldn't do this prior to WLS). I'm going to call this a NSV!!!

QOTD: My family history is so different between my mom and dad's sides. My dad's side are old time New York City mobster types. Scary as hell. My mom's side are all the exact opposite. My grandfather served on a sub in WWII and all the men on that side of the family are stand up perfect (almost) husbands. The difference is night and day.

M1: ½ a Turkey Sausage, Cheese and Egg Burrito, coffee (yep, I am back on a cup a day) w/ FF Half and half

M2: 1 oz Perky Turkey Jerky and a wedge of Lite Laughing Cow Cheese

M3: Chicken stick and some egg drop soup with a scoop of protein powder unflavored.

M4: Beefy mushroom soup w/ a scoop of unflavored protein powder

M5: Zoodles and some kind of protein and sauce TBD

S: LF String Cheese and possibly a chunk of chicken stick

E: Got in 750 steps yesterday. That is 650 above my old average. My goal is 1000/day.

Water and vits on track (fell asleep last night before I took my vits and calcium though. Tsk Tsk.

Quite a hike yesterday! My heart rate spent about 45 minutes between 168 and 170 beats per minute as it was 3 miles straight up hill and 3 miles down. I had over 1000 calories burned on my Apple watch, which is pretty stingy with handing those out. Yay me!

Then I ate too much movie popcorn and swelled right up. So no goal weight for me today.

QOTD: We're a golden retriever family. We got our first when I was 10 and have had 7 in the family since. Schlager (came named), Wally, Wesley, Fergus, Lily, Barkley, and Gracie (last 4 pictured). Best dogs ever!

B - coffee and yogurt

L - real good pizza

D - chicken soup

S - string cheese and roasted broad beans

Sweet Lily I lost to cancer in 2013, but the rest are going strong! Ferg is 10 and my dad's two Barkley and Gracie are 8. Sometimes i think about getting another puppy, but Ferg seems happy enough as the only one in my house.

I'm sorry about sweet Lily Cecily. I lost my Sagie to an allergic reaction to a bee sting the same year as your Lily. They tried everything to save her and couldn't get her airway open again. It was so traumatic, I didn't think I would get over it. Then comes Emmy 3 months later, she was a foster that needed a home. She helped ease the grief a little. She has "only child syndrome" like Ferg:-)

It's terrible losing a pet. They're with us for such a short time and mine are my children. Sounds like your are too!
