Morning! I'm doing pretty well sleeping until normal time, but I keep falling asleep at 9pm instead of 10pm. Damn time change. It's 28 degrees this morning too! Brrrrr. Two more days of work and then we're off to TN for a week. This will be our first family vacation where we are flying.

QOTD: What small thing that happened are you grateful for this week? Last night, we all piled into our bed and watched circa 1983 Inspector Gadget episodes with popcorn (well, crystal light for me, but popcorn for them!). The kids kept saying they wanted to do it every night. It's the little things.

Good morning! So far I like the time change. I have adjusted to sleeping a bit later in preparation for not working and now it is somewhat light out when I get up at 6.

QOTD: I'm happy with my new shoes (Rothys). They were a bit of an investment but I love to wear ballet flats and these are super comfortable and cute (they were recommended to me by Cecily C.)

1 year, 7 months post-op (maintenance). 4 work days to retirement (11/13) - 2 short days, 2 long ones.

B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Ham and cheese

So glad you like them too! I got some red ones after my first pair. My feet hate shoes, but these are so comfy.

QOTD: I am grateful that my dog is feeling good - frolicking around the yard, playful. He had a herniated disk this summer, emergency surgery, 8 weeks of crate rest, then he started getting spasms, then a bad reaction to immunizations (which he has had before with no bad effects). It's good to see him feeling good - I just hope he continues to do well.

B: crackers and strawberry cottage cheese

L: peppered turkey breast (1/2 sandwich)

S: maybe the other half, lol

D: hopefully a steak and salad or grilled chicken

E: walk?

QOTD: I got a new job! I start December 5th. Much better pay and benefits and an on campus fitness center and pool for employees. I applied and same day I submitted my resume I got a call back and an interview and was hired within 2 days. I am so thankful.

Breakfast- 1/2 of an English muffin with Greek cream cheese and a slice of bacon crumbled over it. Consumed a half hour later was coffee with half a protein shake and Miralax.

Lunch- Oven roasted turkey breast ultra thin slices. Chopped celery and Greek cream cheese for dipping (can you tell I love cream cheese?)

Dinner- 3oz strip steak cooked rare just how I love it.

Is that at a University? If so that's insane turnaround. It's always so slow in academia!
