Multi-vitamin nausea
Per Dr., started taking regular (non - chewable) multi vitamin this past week-I cut in 1/2 because very large. Vomited 2X this week after taking , & nauseous every time I take it. Any suggestions (other than reverting back to chewables)?

I recommend taking it with actual food and seeing if that helps.

I would also try eating a few bites before and after the vitamins..
.Liquid multi-s also work when extreme difficulty swallowing is present.. Taste is the down side of these. Some of the calcium ones come in mini sizes, the down side of those is multiple pills are needed for adequate dose.
I had a major gastric surgery with bandings, and do not tolerate any large pills or capsules..And am trying to get my vitamins/minerals back on schedule. My surgeon retired 15+ years ago, due to his own health issues, I and am left to figure out what works for me ... This is why you should know the recommendations of your surgical team and support and 'the WHY " for each item. Be sure to keep the written instructions and make updates to your list as changes occur...and why those changes were made via attached notes.
The option that I am trying now is..., In morning B sublinguals 2 cc under the tongue for 90 seconds, swallow. (c is in the B complex formula) followed by Kelp and natural Iron suplement 3 caps( with intrinsic factor)..D3 and E and zinc are taken at night, with the mag citrate capsules. I am taking collodial minerals a tablespoon at night wih 2 ounces of juice/water mixed half and half, with ice at night only.
Going to ask Dr., thanks! How often do u change the patch?
