2017 Goal Progress?
At the beginning of the year I shared my goals for the year and then made monthly updates with my progress. Those fell by the wayside in June - I was totally not expecting surgery to derail me as much as it has!
I'll post my goal update in a comment to this post, so it's not tl;dr - but for those of you who had goals for this year, how are you progressing with them now that it's November? Are you happy with your progress? Have you started thinking about 2018 goals?

I have done very little to progress on my goals in the last few months!
Plastics
1. Reach plastics goal by June 5 - I reached it on July 4. About a month after my first surgery. So yay me! :)
2. Call plastic surgeon in January to schedule first consult for March and then surgery, hopefully, in early June - Done.
3. Figure out finances for plastics - Done.
Fitness
1. Log at least 15 minutes of exercise EVERY SINGLE DAY* - Nope! I haven't been able to exercise much at all since my first surgery and even before that I wasn't on track here.
2. Achieve crow pose in yoga practice - No progress for obvious reasons :) Next year!
Running
1. Survive half marathon in March - Done!!!!!!! I am amazing!!!
College
1. Pass all classes with minimum grade of B - Still going strong with As.
2. Finish AA degree - Done!
3. Begin BSes - Yup! I just finished my 10th credit and now I'm done with courses for the year. I start up again on January 8th.
Self Care
1. Continue monthly massages - Oh yes. I need to schedule for December still.
2. Do one fun thing at least half the days of the month just for me - I fell out of the habit of tracking. A friend was right and this goal needs to be more specific.
3. Participate in bereavement class at local hospice - Yup! And I've been meeting with my group once a month or so for lunch or walking.
Cooking/Food
1. Pick one physical cookbook when meal planning each week and choose at least one recipe from that book for the week's plan - Nope! I have been better than years past, but I haven't quite succeeded with once a week cookbook usage. I will definitely repeat this goal next year since it's a good one. I've just had too many things keep me from cooking this year.
2. Blog all recipes from cookbooks - My blog is still AWOL, so nope!
3. Blog all weekly meal plans - See above.
Relationships
1. See my mom once a month - So far so good! I love the time I've gotten to spend with my mom this year. I'm hopeful Thanksgiving will work out well (i.e., that I'll be recovered enough for it) and then there's our winter holiday "cabin."
2. One fun thing a week with Art aside from watching TV - Not totally successful here, but better than in the past.
3. One fun thing a week with Lance aside from watching TV - Ditto :P
4. Friendships - I don't really have a concrete goal for this one, and I've had to bail on some friend meet ups due to scheduling, but I want to keep trying. I'm grateful my friends seem understanding.
Make a Change
1. Complete training for Local Literacy Council and actively tutor - This is currently shelved due to lack of time.
2. Stay involved with college club, go to meetings at least once a month - Done!
3. Continue attending meetings in locally, at least one a month - Nope.
4. Other concrete things TBD - I've contacted the local Girls on the Run chapter in to see about volunteering but I've gotten no replies. Their first 5k is two weeks after my upcoming surgery, so I don't know what I'll be able to do, but I want to do something.
A lot of life right now is postponed until January. It's hard for me to think about planning anything right now. And... that's okay. Goals are just goals, they're not imperatives and they don't make or break my sense of self.

You seem pretty ambitious (and successful) to me! My only goals this year were to get ready to retire, maintain my weight and get DH in an Alzheimer's clinical trial. We bought a town home in Florida in February in preparation for wintering there after retirement and I'm retiring a week from Monday (!). DH started in a trial on July 1st (after screening between February and June). And my weight is still essentially the same as it was at the beginning of the year. I think I pretty much pick attainable goals and not too many.

Thanks! Your goals are great goals :) Having attainable goals is super important for me when I'm creating mine for each year.

My single goal this year was to reach my goal weight by the one year mark, which was Halloween...and I did it at 10.5 months and have maintained so I'm happy about that!
Well, I guess the other one was to finally get my hysterectomy, and that is coming up in two weeks, so I'll have accomplished both! Yay!
Congratulations! I still have yet to reach my ultimate goal. But.. I'll get there someday. Or I won't. Both are fine.
Congrats on your hysterectomy! I'm trying to wait until I'm 45 but we'll see what happens.
